Need a flip flop as it is finally getting warm in Pennsylvania! Please advise as to one that looks nice and is durable. Everyone in this town wears Tory Burch. I'd like something different. Birkenstocks don't fit me right. Just want something to wear with jeans that don't require a heel. But a shoe that will last through the summer. Thanks so much! Oh, and I'm very tired of "fit flops" - wore them the last 2 summers!

I just got a pair of Olukais and they are super comfortable and not as "crunchy" as Birkenstocks.
In the "very casual" category, I was quite surprised at how comfortable these Crocs Sanrah thong sandals were:

My opinion is that flip flops have evolved and there's a time and a place for everything!!!

They are a staple in the summer for beach/pool/lounging around.....and year-round I keep a spare pair in the car for trips to the spa or nail salon

Another vote for Havaianas. Could not care less if I look like a "clueless co-ed".
