Funny enough, I never visited a Panda in China. But I have seen one at the zoo I think.. I feel it might make more sense to get the Smiling Buddha charm because while in China, I visited lots of temples and saw way too much Buddhas there lol. Also I can rub the Buddhas belly for good luck? Lol

Two hrs to see a Panda? Ouch. And do I I dare ask if you have the Panda charm? :)
Well talking about that panda it was hilarious we waited 2 hours to see him at ocean park then when we did get to see him my kids was convinced he was fake! That it was a man in a panda suit??............ Funny you mention temples we went to this temple in hk that had hundreds of steps we had to walk up was unbelievable amount of up hill steps my kids was carrying a whole cooked chicken and fruit as offering to the gods which we to give when we reach the summit. a tradition us Chinese lot do. Anyhow nearly to the top my lovely child tripped up the stairs and the whole chicken and fruit went rolling all the way down the steps???? it was such an embarrassment 

Oh no, I hope your child didn't get hurt. I have been to the Huangshan in china and it almost killed me going up the steps. But the view was breathtaking so it kinda made it worth..just kinda.

That is pretty funny that your kids thought it was a fake Panda...I can see why it could look kinda fake lol big giant guy under a snow suit.

Mandora! I put this bracelet together to remind me of better times. Speaking on purse forum terms, the theme would be travel haha. I'm happiest when I travel. I filled it up because when it's empty it pulls my arm hair );

The safety chain I don't precisely love it but I guess it is a mandatory investment since charms aren't that cheap. The turtle symbolizes my childhood because turtles are the only pets I've ever had; I even had a collection of stuffed turtles! The seashell represents my family because my best memories of them are from when we go to the beach. The beach ball represents the month I lived in Cannes. The stocking represents the stuffed mouse which has been my best friend ever since I can remember :) his leg once played music and nowadays the batteries are still inside so it tingles. The clock reminds me of a saying which says that, when it comes to answering our prayers, God never forgets; he just takes his time. The forget-me-knot represents me going to Lana del Rey's concert, it was amazing and I made it to the stadium even though apparently my family did everything to stop me from attending. Then there's the rock star clip, my initials. The suitcase kinda stands for the Louis Vuitton piece of luggage I wanted ever since 2008 which I finally got last year. Then there's the Bible. The plain clip is there to remind me to always stay humble. The frog represents my first trip abroad alone, to Costa Rica. The sun represents Miami, my favorite city and the first foreign place I ever went to. The chest symbolizes life and blessings are the treasure. Then I have a clover. I wasn't exactly planning on getting the Black Friday charm but I did to remind me of Texas; I had always wanted to go and I finally did this year during the holidays so I obviously listened to festive music again and again and again in shopping malls and everywhere I went so it just fit that trip. Finally there's the car, because I've always loved cars and this year I finally got my license.

Attached is a photo of how I commonly wear it. Sorry for such a long post, everyone!

beautifull mandora :smile1:, ilove to ear people talking about their charms and the meanings of each one, it's not just a bracelet but a lot more

I agree with what Missydora said about Perlen. Initially it was a lot cheaper but the prices have increased and the gold is actually more expensive. All the items are brand new and unscratched. It doesn't take that long to be sent to the UK but I don't know about the rest of the world. The prices of the charms are cheaper for those who live in the US as tax is taken off at the basket. This was what was said right at the beginning. Are you thinking about buying from Perlen?

thx a lot tabitha, i was looking at the website and (i'm from canada) they are a lot of cheaper charm, and some had really good price, may be i will try somedays, the only thing is that to get the free shipping they are not responsible about loosing a package, so i dont know,,, and in other way they get some retired charms that i am looking for so, its tantalizing:D
I am trying to upload my pictures. I think it is successful but the resolution is crappy because we had to reduce the size of them.

BTW, while I am doing this can someone tell me whether the single captivating amber bead by itself on a bangle is genuine? I took a shot showing it near my other captivating Muranos and it looks so different from my other captivating charms. If I can't ask this on the forum just ignore. Thanks.

You have a big and beautifull collections, how long are you collecting pandora? I have so many idea of bracelets that i want that i think one life will not be enough to make it all

Actually the Panda charm is so cute.
I love the panda charm, it is so life like! When I see charms, I want to know immediately what they represent. I am not fond of the charms that are cartoonish in appearance. I worry I would tire of them. That is why I adore the hippo, elephant and rhino plus the polar bear dangle is a favourite (love that little snow flake attachment). I still love every single one I have bought, even the duplicates, since how can I love animals, or gardening or traveling without having a heart charm on each of those bracelets?

It is amazing to me what some of our like and dislikes are: safety chains vs no safety chain, liking Muranos or not. We are all taking our choices from the same source but manage to design something uniquely ours. That is part of the fun.

Some of the new charms have amazing detail like the pine cone and Christmas sleigh. They are gorgeous but I wonder whether the expense is worth it for wearing them for such a short period of time. That being said, a friend bought me the reindeer dangle; she is crazy for Christmas so maybe she has pushed me into that vortex!

I started my first bracelet in September 2008. I just happened into a jewelry store with my daughter while we were on a home tour and wondered why it was such a mad house. All these women were lining up to get the September promotion. I had never really noticed Pandora so checked it out and was immediately smitten. I went back the next day only to find the promotion over :-( but the nice saleslady told me another store had theirs on for an extra day so I rushed over and got my first one.

I have been very lucky in collecting. My husband didn't figure it out for a while but I timed our trips to Florida to coincide with US promotions so I could get both! I got my two tone dragonfly in Honduras. I bought about 3 since they were US pricing (cheaper than Canada) and then saw the dragonfly. He sold it to me for $100!! Here in Canada it is 205.00.

Afterwards, I thought OMG!! was I just in a totally fake Pandora store and got screwed?! I worried so much when I got home I took it to my Pandora store here and they said what's the problem it's fine. I didn't say why because I didn't want to get the guy in trouble but if you are ever in Roatan check out the Pandora store!

LOVE the bracelet! :smile1: It looks good on you, and I love the two bracelets you've paired it with!

Thank you for explaining the meaning of the charms. As others have said it's so interesting to find out how beads have meanings for others. Love the meaning of the clock charm.

so this is what I am building towards. I already have some of these charms. it might change, but this is what i was playing around with on the bracelet builder. i couldn't find the dreamer clips but that its what i am going to get as my safety chain!

It came out together very nicely! I like the budah charm. not reason it jus caught my eye. I tried this online tool many times myself, but the they never looked as real as yours do. Don't know why.

Omg!!! You have the largest collection I've ever seen!!!, I bow my head down to you. You are truly a big fan I'm in awe that you have so many and they are all so beautifully put together Well done and thanks for sharing I was wandering how you were getting on up loading your pics, at least yours r the right way round! I have yet to achieve this

I know of ladies who have over 40 full bracelets!! :o :D

Then I guess more people will tend to buy online whereas those hight street concept stores are more for branding purposes going forward.
With sales item I think most people would buy online because of the dissappointment of the bead sold out if we went instore. I find that I would buy muranoes in person because of the varied size and colour. But with other charms I mostly buy online. Partly also because the Pandora concept stores near me have a mixed bag of staff some that aren't that helpful and can make me feel that I'm taking up their time by being indecisive or asking to see several charms. It makes the choosing aspect no fun when SA is pushing for a sale. The in house stores that are independent that carry Pandora have a better service I find they give a more personal tailored service they are genuinely more helpful and want to help build my dream bracelet and they are more honest with feedback if i ask for it. But there is definately a consensus that the high street is is now just a showroom for goods most people find it less hassle and buy online .
