Happy New Year lovely ladies!

I was away and stayed off all things electronic for a much needed break, and the thread just bombed along in the past couple of weeks! And here we are 30 pages deep into a brand new one for 2014! Needless to say, I have a lot of catching up to do and am just loving all your recent additions and bracelets. I guess Santa (and the sales) have been good to many ;).

As for me, I lucked out and got the gold circles spacers in the sale which I am loving on my oxy bracelet. I was naughty and also got two gold charms in Duty Free at Heathrow as I couldn't resist 20% off. I wanted the Gilded Cage one for the longest time and now that I bought it, I managed to leave it abroad! Very annoyed by this as I won't be able to wear for at least six months. The other gold charm was also on my wishlist. The problem is there are always new things to go on the wishlist!

Anyhow, here are my bracelets with the new additions. I am getting closer to my dream black/white/gold bracelet, though it needs more Muranos to compete and a re-jig of all the charms.

By the way - can I please have opinions on the pearl drop charm?

It's Judith Ripka and I got it as I love the clear drop charm I have, but not so enamoured with the pearl and considering a return. Thoughts?

Apologies for the long post!
Your collection is simply gorgeous.x

Pandora did some, and an independent jeweller did some. :smile1:
Hooray there's hope for me ! Thanks it's something I would like to start and collect if they could do it in my size as at the moment there hasn't been any charms for my bracelet I've been wanting to buy. But I do like the stackiable rings they r small and have dainty designs that I like and I can see I will enjoy designing them like I have with charms for the bracelet. Will enquire more about resizing when I go to the pande store thanks again

Mandora! I put this bracelet together to remind me of better times. Speaking on purse forum terms, the theme would be travel haha. I'm happiest when I travel. I filled it up because when it's empty it pulls my arm hair );

The safety chain I don't precisely love it but I guess it is a mandatory investment since charms aren't that cheap. The turtle symbolizes my childhood because turtles are the only pets I've ever had; I even had a collection of stuffed turtles! The seashell represents my family because my best memories of them are from when we go to the beach. The beach ball represents the month I lived in Cannes. The stocking represents the stuffed mouse which has been my best friend ever since I can remember :) his leg once played music and nowadays the batteries are still inside so it tingles. The clock reminds me of a saying which says that, when it comes to answering our prayers, God never forgets; he just takes his time. The forget-me-knot represents me going to Lana del Rey's concert, it was amazing and I made it to the stadium even though apparently my family did everything to stop me from attending. Then there's the rock star clip, my initials. The suitcase kinda stands for the Louis Vuitton piece of luggage I wanted ever since 2008 which I finally got last year. Then there's the Bible. The plain clip is there to remind me to always stay humble. The frog represents my first trip abroad alone, to Costa Rica. The sun represents Miami, my favorite city and the first foreign place I ever went to. The chest symbolizes life and blessings are the treasure. Then I have a clover. I wasn't exactly planning on getting the Black Friday charm but I did to remind me of Texas; I had always wanted to go and I finally did this year during the holidays so I obviously listened to festive music again and again and again in shopping malls and everywhere I went so it just fit that trip. Finally there's the car, because I've always loved cars and this year I finally got my license.

Attached is a photo of how I commonly wear it. Sorry for such a long post, everyone!
Wow, an amazing story which pulls at the heart strings. It sounds like you have been through a lot and have had some hard times. How old are you if you don't mind me asking? This is only because you have experienced so much already. I'm pleased you find comfort in your bracelet and you cherish it so much. In fact, I see a Pandora leather one next to it? Since you have filled this bracelet, are you tempted to start a new one? Perhaps an oxi with new beginnings charms on.:smile1:

Yippee we get to see your mandora!!. It's amazing. I just showed my hubby and he say it looks very "yeah!" which is chinglish???English/Chinese mixed up language Means very trendy. I think me and the kids can convert him slowly after seeing your pics we going to start him with a brown or black leather bracelet. My daughter who is at university says some of her male student friends have them. And they are given as friendship bracelets. I see that you have had so many amazing experiences in your life with all the memories that you now treasure on your bracelet how wonderful that you can share it with us. You have such a big heart and humility you deserve all the great things comming your way. Stay the way you are and I hope no one will ever try and change you. Instead i hope other people will see you as a inspiration. Thanks for sharing  I'm going to show this to my daughters so they can see that there are some wonderful humble people on this planet.

I can't thank you enough, I'm just so flattered  I honestly never meant to seem like an attention seeker on the forum, I just thought about sharing my story :smile1: yeah maybe a couple of clips on a leather bracelet would be fine for him, or just the bracelet itself! endless possibilities!!

could someone give me some feedback about perlen?
I agree with what Missydora said about Perlen. Initially it was a lot cheaper but the prices have increased and the gold is actually more expensive. All the items are brand new and unscratched. It doesn't take that long to be sent to the UK but I don't know about the rest of the world. The prices of the charms are cheaper for those who live in the US as tax is taken off at the basket. This was what was said right at the beginning. Are you thinking about buying from Perlen?

Thank you :smile1: I'm 17 . I know my problems may be silly compared to others', but there was just so much pressure and stress on me during 2013 which summed up to the issues I had accumulated over the years so it just kinda blew up. Things I never expected to happen went down, but I'm glad the drama is coming to an end. College starts this year for me, which means a new beginning. Haha yeah that was my first pandora bracelet, it sure is tempting getting new charms! I just have a rock star clip on it. Maybe I could add one of the big-dark-wooden beads in the future. I guess I'll just add my dream bead, the camel, once I accomplish going to Dubai, and that'd be it. But you never know!

Well done for everything!:smile1: You are very independent and you seem to have your head screwed on. Good job. I work in a school and one of my students had just the snake chain on but it was tight fitting and it looked cool. I think you could rock a tight fitting oxi bracelet stacked with your full, or just the oxi on its own. The fact is you have your whole life ahead of you. Perhaps you could buy a few charms to inspire your future. For example, you want the camel charm but don't want to buy it until you have been to Dubai. Buy it now and that will be a goal for you to achieve. Buy another charm and that could be a different goal. You will become as bad as the rest of us here haha!

I am trying to upload my pictures. I think it is successful but the resolution is crappy because we had to reduce the size of them.

BTW, while I am doing this can someone tell me whether the single captivating amber bead by itself on a bangle is genuine? I took a shot showing it near my other captivating Muranos and it looks so different from my other captivating charms. If I can't ask this on the forum just ignore. Thanks.

Omg!!! You have the largest collection I've ever seen!!!, I bow my head down to you. You are truly a big fan I'm in awe that you have so many and they are all so beautifully put together Well done and thanks for sharing I was wandering how you were getting on up loading your pics, at least yours r the right way round! I have yet to achieve this

What size are you?
Sorry to be a pain. I downloaded a ring chart that has circles on them and corresponding ring size so I put my ring on top of which fits best and it says ring size 52 I should have done this in the first place but doh brain me tried to use a online actual ruler on the iPad but cos it was not to scale meant it was wrong according to that I had man size builder fingers which I know I don't have!,. Is size 52 a standard pandora ring size? Or I need to get resized.
