Either that, or that we are all dumber than a bag of hammers.
Well the pictures were perfect. But I did not get the beads in the picture and there in lies the problem. I knew they were fake before I took them out of the baggies (they were in real Pandora baggies).

Was an all around stupid purchase and I guess I have gotten what I deserve and kinda expected. I was hopeful though. Took a risk and lost. I will get my money. I'm not worried about that. Just more disappointed than anything.

I would not buy them either cos I would know.
I am really undecided actually. Because if I bought a bead off the internet and took it to the Pandora store, and they told me it was real... then the value is there and what does anyone know.

I know people love the authenticity of things but that is more a vanity isn't it? Like people who only buy a brand because of what OTHERS will think of them. Seems a little childish to me.

The issue about authentic pieces for me is that you are buying something illegal. And counterfeit items are in fact illegal. That is what would bother me most, that you gave your money to a criminal.

 your descriptions made me laugh so much! I actually prefer it when he just asks me what I want :graucho: it's fun watching him squirm a bit because he's always worried about what I'm going to ask for lol but he never says no :smile1:

Thank you so much for posting pictures! :smile1:
Wow I can definitely see the differences and mine are clearly fake :shucks::cry:
Did the babushka you got for your friend look like the one on the right? The one on the bracelet I got from the Pandora store, the added-in one (to the right) is from her shop. I messaged the seller asking about the babushka charm and she said the one on my bracelet was fake

I don't think it's vain to want something that is handcrafted and exceptional. I think many of the ladies here would agree that the detail and beauty of a Pandora charm is what makes it so special. It is also what makes it so expensive. If I wanted something less than perfect, I would buy fakes or non-Pandora charms.

I'm also sad to say that not many of my friends collect Pandora, so they wouldn't know a real charm from a fake charm, hah.

Oh I know. And please don't take offense or understand wrong, I love Pandora for all the Pandora lover reasons. I know the difference between a no name charm and a quality Pandora charm (or fake). I was just pointing out that when 2 things are exactly the same and no one knows, it would bother me that one was illegal and not so much that it is not real. And that I also would not want the authentic one only because of what other people think. Because that is vain in itself, to want the brand name just to show off right?

I know most people don't love Pandora just because its "Pandora". They love it because it is such a unique brand with excellent quality. That is the point I was making. Sorry if it wasn't well made.

I can definitely relate to being miffed because some seller has basically stolen from you - I still don't have my refund from JF :( I should probably lose all hope for that! It's been 3 weeks!

You're right though,it's the principle of it all that makes me so livid over being taken advantage of.

Hey. I've posted a couple of times but I'm generally a lurker on here ;)
Anyway, the beautiful recent photos from Ardnas made me come up with a question, though I don't know if all of you will have the same interest in it!

But, what jewellery boxes do you use for your pandora?

I use a Stackers charm box. But I imagine there are probably bigger and better options out there

I use the large Pandora jewelry box with glass top.

This is on old picture, my collection has changed a lot since then.

There´s one on Ebay now : http://www.ebay.nl/itm/authentic-ge...4?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_146&hash=item417d6d1c84

Lovely. Do you like mice or are they to go on different bracelet?

I do like mice, whenever I come across one that is in good condition for the right price I buy it. They are just so petite and fragile looking, I love them. Can't resist! :p

I don't think it's a vanity at all. I don't buy authentic items in case others don't like fakes, I buy authentic items because I don't like fakes.
