Thank you!! I will have to use them from now on unless I wait until I go to Toronto to check out the pandora store...I really want the rosette gold spacers or the trinity spacers but kind of want to see them in real life first to see if its worth the price and which I like better for my bracelet.

I am trying to build a two tone and so far its all silver lol am thinking if I add gold spacers it will look more complete when I add two tone beads and dangles.

I think gold spacers will pull it together nicely.....I'm not sure how close you are to Barrie, but there are 2 stores there...

I do too. I have 2 now, the stripe, like the new one, and the dots. I'm using them on a necklace which I get a lot of compliments on!

I'm putting together a SS/14K gold diamond bracelet and debating on buying 3 14k white muranos or 3 black ones....I was never a murano lover until recently. My 2 other bracelets are both 14K/SS with no glass beads...

Well, I'm sure you'll make up for it next time you go to Toronto :graucho:

haha yep!!! I still havent heard anything about the clips I ordered before halloween :( The store was supposed to call me yesterday to let me know if they were even coming in now that they got rid of pandora...ughhh frustratinggg I didnt order online for this reason because I wanted them quick...well its been a month :( *growl* hopefully I dont ruin the threads by wearing the bracelet without clips for now...

silly question? i have 2 pandora bracelets (which i hope to get pics of and show you w/in the next week)...one is on a silver bracelet; murano beads and silver with czs to make a rainbow (very significant to me) and the second is one that i started last week; a black leather bracelet that is only going to be silver beads with cz and no murano beads...soooo, during the summer, i was swept into trollbeads and have a silver troll bracelet as well...the question is, do any of you mix/match your beads? for some reason i feel very "brand loyal" and don't want to mix pandoras with trolls even though they look great together! does that sound weird? would love any thoughts on mixing/matching...
thanks and happy turkey day!!!

No this does not sound weird. I can not bring myself to put a non Pandora bead on my bracelet. I have a generic champagne colored swarovski bead and every time I put it on my 2tone bracelet I end up taking it off. I wish it did not bother me, but it does. A friend of mind has mostly Pandora, but she has a few non Pandora charms on hers, 1 charm that she has (that is to die for) is a ss bead with opal (her birthstone), and her bracelet is absolutely beautiful.

I would be fine with mixing brands, as long as the quality was as good as Pandora. I've never seen Troll beads so I don't know. I was looking at some $20 sterling beads at Dillards that I would not put on my Pandora because they looked so much cheaper.

I mix brands without hesitation and I buy what I like. I wouldn't hesitate with quality concerns from any of what I call the "big three" in the bead world Chamilia, Troll or Pandora. I've seen folks be brand loyalists to all 3 and their bracelets are gorgeous. I've seen folks mix and match and you know, their bracelets are gorgeous. From time to time, you'll see folks claim one company is superior to another. Truth be told, from a jeweler's perspective, they are all equal. It's a matter of taste. IMO, each brand does something really well. I think Pandora does a great job of beads being really uniform in their roundness. I think Chamilia has some of the cutest character beads and Troll's glass is the most beautiful. But that's just my opinion. I think that's the joy of charm bracelets...the ability to customize to your taste. I say do what you want and enjoy!!

That is so frustrating....The threads should be fine for now, hopefully you'll get them soon though:smile1:

Hey everyone,

I'm sorry if this has been asked before but I have a question! I just started my bracelet in September. As of right now I have 5 charms with a clip on either end of them to keep them in the middle. I will have a couple more soon and I was wondering what was the best way to keep them from twisting off.

I have heard about the safety chains but I think those work best when the bracelet is full. Do the safety chains simply twist on like the beads? If so, why is it useful to keep the beads from falling off, wouldn't it just twist off itself?

Would it be better to buy another clip for either end of the beads, even though it won't clip onto a specific area, so that they will not twist off the end?

I have attached a picture for reference!

Thanks in advance!! :D

^ I only put an extra clip on the end that u screw the beads on, in addition to each thread in the middle. To put one on the other end (close to the barrel) doesn't make sense to me since it isn't securing anything....I do this with both my bracelets....

^ definitely!!! the safety chain twists on, like a bead and can twist off just as easy. The only way the bead can come off the end with a clip there is if the clip falls off and I've had yet to have that happen to any of my bracelets.
