SydneyGirl, good luck this weekend!! :D Are you going to get those silver & blue "boho beachy" earrings we've been talking about? :P

Don't forget to post some pictures :)

Yes, sure am, Fufi. I am thinking about it ALL the time! Well, we do need something to think about apart from boring everyday work, etc, etc , don't we? I was near a Pandora store today but I was with my boss so I couldn't go there. So tempting .......anyway better off waiting until the weekend when I have more time.

northernbirdie, love all your bracelets and earrings! You are so lucky!!;)

Cool! Love the snow. Unfortunately it doesn't snow here in Sydney. Sorry to hear you are sick! Don't you just hate it? :tdown:So, which one is the crazy bone bead? I'm trying to work it out? Sorry if that's a dumb question. I've only had this obsession for 10 months or so!;)

No, not dumb at all, I just noticed that it's called the dancing bead- so my mistake (the one with the black diamonds) :roflmfao: Here's are pics.... I'm banned until after the new year....So so sad

Thank you, I have not received them yet, I hope they are as nice IRL. I'm trying to put together a diamond 14k/SS bracelet.....I'm 6 beads and 3 gold spacers away......the problem is, the beads that I'm missing are expensive.....so it will take me a long time before finishing it I think....Next on my list is the 14K black diamond guilded cage bead :graucho: (I may be able to squeeze that on in before the holiday's - and hide it from DH)

So far for this bracelet I've purchased....
Oxidized SS bracelet
2 gold ribbed clips
14k angel of hope bead (xmas present from DH)
SS/14k diamond onyx bead (xmas present from DH)
14k diamond matrix bead
SS/14k Kerry's diamond bead
SS/14k diamond dark line bead (retired)
SS/14k diamond web bead (retired)
SS/14K diamond delight bead
And the 2 beads listed above

My wish list...lol..

SS/14K diamond daisy bead
SS/14K diamond daisy Forget me not bead (?)
14K black diamond guilded cage
SS/14K Rose bouquet
and 2 more beads......and 3 gold spacers....oh...and a gold safty chain....:wtf::wacko:

I AM A PANDORAHOLIC

Hi all - love all your bracelets! I've had a Pandora addiction for a few years and have amassed two bracelets and two necklaces which I mix and match everyday. But mostly everyday, I wear my gold bracelet with a mix of gold and silver charms. And I'm finding, no matter how often I clean it, I'm ending up with black tarnish stain on my wrist by the end of the day

Does anyone else have this issue? I'm worried it might be a problem of the mix of gold and silver b/c I never had this problem when it was all silver - ? Anyone? Ways to fix?

Hey everyone. I hope it is OK that I just barge in and post here. I need help though! I am very new to the whole Pandora thing. My sister got my mom the bracelet last year, so for Christmas I am going to buy her a couple charms. Just need some suggestions, please! What would be the best charms to get her for Christmas? I can't go over $35 for each.

Thanks!

Hi Coach+Louislove - I think it makes most sense to think about what her other charms are and going with something consistant (ie if they're all oxidized silver, or does she have any colour?) If just silver, I think Pandora makes a few cute ones that are Xmas-y but okay to wear year-round - like the gift box one and tree one. My thoughts!

I like the other suggestions about checking if she has a theme going on already or has chosen some colours that you could consider. If I were you, I would check to see whether she has any clips. Some of those are in your price range. Or a safety chain - one of those is about the price of the two beads you are thinking of and might be much appreciated by your Mom.
If your Mom is like most, one bead will make her happy, so don't worry if you fall in love with one that is more expensive, but still within your total budget. Just my thoughts.

Foxgal, I have this problem with a lot of gold jewelry. I once bought an emerald ring at a very reputable jeweller and kept taking it back to be checked and cleaned, until I finallt realized that ti was the chemistry of my body, not the ring that was causing the tarnish. I have heard said that it has to do with the acid content of you rbody, but that may be an old wives tale.

I cannot say that I know whether Pandora charms are 14K, 10K or what, but my wedding band is 18K gold and it does not do this, whereas 10K and 14K rings will turn my skin black.

All Pandora jewelry is 14K gold..... Foxgal, have you tried wearing it with only gold beads?

It's been retired for several years and was one of the earliest Pandora beads when production/distribution was not as extensive as it is now.

*Update* I have found the Pandora Bear head bead - for £19!! I was amazed to find it and at that price :yahoo:

The Sales Assistant was surprised at the price as all the other beads were £25+ but as it was so old - the only one in the shop - it was still its original price... It looks soo cute and I know my friend will be so pleased :D

I wanted to post a pic but its all gift-wrapped...

Thanks Pandora15 and jollywa - might be my chemistry :( though no problems with other gold jewellry. Thinking it might be the mix of gold and silver and a reaction that the two metals have together. When I wear gold with only gold charms this doesn't happen.

Drat - I like the two-tone look, but maybe I'll have to get more gold charms and make another totally silver bracelet and wear them together ;)
