Wow silverfern this is a serious collection. Very cool. I love the beautiful, serious nature of the bags and then the most luscious colorful accessories hiding inside. Like wearing a Chanel suit with ultra feminine lingerie. Love this rich contrast.
A true collection… very considered with a strong point of view. Thanks for getting these all together and taking pictures. Best Bordeaux I’ve ever seen…in any style.

Ok here we go maxxout :) My Bal family, ......

The bags: 05 Bordeaux Weekender....

flat brass First and the regular First......

silverfern:Thanks for sharing your family. THAT is one handsome family! I LOVE your Bordeaux - I don't think I've seen one w/ such fine leather. just one more thing to add to my growing I WANT! list :p
And I was wondering why the flat brass and regular Firsts did not look that similar; the total of depth and materials details make them pretty different!

fashion1: congratulations on your new Seafoam.

Thanks so much for the sweet words maxx :blushing::flowers::smooch:

Really it is very considered - it's taken me about 4 years to try out every colour/style I wanted to and this is what I've decided I love and works for me, and what I hope I will never tire of. I've always been drawn to antique and vintage finds so it felt natural to start with the early bags. For me nothing can compare to the colours and leather of 2001-05.

I started to get stressed out when I had over 10 bags though and I actually enjoyed the process of paring down almost more than the acquisition phase.

And I love colour though I'm not a 'colourful' person so the accessories are the perfect way for me to enjoy these beautiful Bal brights every single day.

Thanks for looking :)

THUD. :faint:

Pics of 04 pre-loved Seafoam City! I cleaned it using baby wipes, then conditioned with apple and lastly Bal nourishing cream which brough back some of the shine, and then touched up the cracked sealant with leather glue, Fiebings edge kote in natural, followed by a tiny brush and acrylic paint to touch up the edge color. FYI, Ceramcoat Tropic Bay Blue is almost a perfect match to the Seafoam sealant color. Handles are not sticky at all and are really not too dark, but I may still send in to LMB. What do you gals think?

OOHH glad you brought it outside. That looks more like the color and looks in better condition. Nice and smooshy!!!!
Do you love it?? So great for the summer.

So true! The color looks more accurate in your one outdoor pic fashion1 and look at that lovely slouch! Thanks for sharing pics and congrats again, my seafoam city twin! Oh and I enjoyed hearing the details of your clean up procedure.... I have to say...think you are a little crazy or very brave to use the baby wipes! Lol! But I am impressed that you are a fellow d.I.y. Edge koter! Thanks for the tip on the color match too (my sealant is pretty good for now, but it may need touching up down the road).
