I love them too! Especially your little coin purse! Looking at it in your pictures, I'm feeling SO much slg greed, I want to reach out and just grab it  What a beautiful purple piece! :girlsigh:

I have the slightly larger coin purse in black, which I also love, but I'm always looking for the smaller size but they are very hard to find in very good or better condition.

I hope you don't mind me cross-posting, but I posted this in the Identify this Balenciaga thread, and I thought those who follow this thread might also be able to help.

I just received a lovely dark brown City bag, my guess is 2003 or 2004. I've never heard of this edition before though. The leather is soft and supple, but not glazed like all my other chevre bags. The hardware is pewter and the lining is suede. It has every authentic characteristic, and even that awesome B bag scent that Oldies have. I've posted a few photos, with comparisons to a 2002 chocolate brown hobo and a 2003 olive brown city. Any ideas? The suede lining looks just like the suede lining of the 2004(?) tweed bags. Does anyone know when this was produced, and if it was a random limited edition?

I've also thrown in a photo of a (new to me) 2004 True Red flat messenger, as I've never seen one posted before in this color. The leather is really incredible!

Thanks in advance!IMG_20180428_204501.jpg IMG_20180428_204637.jpg IMG_20180428_205655.jpg IMG_20180428_205728.jpg

Gorgeous bag and what a great find. I don't know what year it could be as I've never seen a bag with suede lining. My guess is 2003 or so?

Thanks! I think 2003 is the most likely. In the Authentication thread, some of us are thinking 2003 limited edition of some kind, or maybe even a City prototype. The leather could be Caribou or maybe Buffalo? After using it a few days now, I'm really enjoying the suede lining, and it keeps its shape a touch better, though is still slouchy like my other City bags. It's a little bit heavier too, though not significantly so. This has been a really fun mystery!
