I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to the RM Team!

I sent a MAC in for a broken loop and the customer service & over all experience was great! I was given a time frame of 14-30 days before I would receive my bag and it turned out being less than I expected! It ended up being about a week and a half. They did a great job on the repair as well, you can't even tell :)

Hi RM team! I think its pretty safe to say that we minkettes prefer the old style strap on our mams. There is no comparison between having the strap attach to the place it is supposed to, and having to unclip the decorative dogleash clasps to use them for the strap. That is inconvenient and ruins the look of the bag....and I now only buy old mams with the strap that i like. I think we would all be willing to pay the difference if there is a difference in cost.

Is saks fifth avenue considered an authorized dealer or off price? If I need to send my bag in for repairs I wondered what saks would be considered since I am paying full price for the bag. Thanks

I would think so. Here's the link to their Policies page there's a section covering repairs. I had emailed them and asked if mine would be covered and she emailed me back with a form to fill out to include when I shipped it. They are usually pretty good at getting back to you fairly quickly. Within a day or so.

Hi RM Team. I saw a lovely Viola Studded Affair, and wondered if that combination was made in the Large Affair? Or, any purple other than raspberry Large Affairs? If not, I will probably try the regular size, but I am a full size Nikki, Mattie, Mab not Mam fan. I really don't rock smaller bags.

Hi RM team! I also feel the same way and absolutely love the old style strap! Please go back to making MAMs and MABs this way. :smile1:

I thought I was the only one! I initially preferred the old strap but I find that it makes my bags look twisted and awkward. new ones do change the shape, but its even and more uniformed IMO.

I have a somewhat random question and am not sure it can be easily answered. I follow galmeetsglam blog by Julia and she started posting pictures of an RM bag (I think she picked it up when she came to NYC for NYFW) and I have no idea what the name of the bag is but i think its so cute and am very interested in it. Any idea what the name of the bag is? Heres a link to one of her posts with the bag

Hi RM team!

Just a heads up, you should consider re-releasing more bags with rose gold hw, especially black/rose gold MACs/mini MACs! There's a black/rose gold MAC selling on ebay right now for $470+! I think there's definitely a demand for it. :D I, for one, would love a black/rose gold mini mac. Thanks!

I had emailed Nicole about a SO for that particular mini MAC and she said they were working on it for an online exclusive.

I've recently bought a MAC Clutch from "www.eluxe.ca" (which is a legit site). I got the bag today and one detail about this bag bugs me making me think that it is not real. IT DOES NOT HAVE A LOGO PLATE ON THE BACK.

Description of the rest of the bag:
- black leather
- light gold hardware
- 7 metal studs on shoulder strap
- blue/black polka dot lining (matching dust bag)
- came with all the Rebecca Minkoff tags and "authenticity card"

it looks exactly like that one in the link (I assumed the hardware is light gold), down to the zipper style/detail...EXCEPT for that logo plate....

All the ones I've looked up has the logo plate (saying RebeccaMinkoff) on the back of the bag (with blue polka dot lining + metal studs on shoulder strap).

Did they "forget" to put a logo plate on mine?

Can someone please verify this? I'm really confused as to keep or return this bag.

Did you post pix in the "authenticate this" thread? You'll find lots of good help there. Need pix of the actual bag though, not just the real one on Nordstroms.
