Hmm. I'm trying to think of influential designers with labels during those years. Chloé? Phoebe Philo was with them in that timeframe.
Dear Toni: Does an HH passport holder fit inside the Pomp? Two inquiring minds in Casa Cerveza want to know. Much obliged.
Gingey - I just tried the HH passport holder inside my vcp pomp. It is a no go. Passport holder is 4" wide and the pomp is also 4" wide on the outside measurements. But the lining and stitching (and zipper location) on the pomp make the inside depth slightly less than 3". So the passport holder sticks way out and there is no way even with cramming that the pport holder will go in.

Wow...I am entirely slammed with work today trying to get the new Lorcas launched & ship, ship, shipping away. I have so much to share. We rcvd the new Clutch Wallets today and the Trophy Bags, so I will be posting some casual pics later for the color-curious. I'm very happy with the new leathers...incredible colors. My eyes are drooling.
So- I LOVE the guesses as to the one non-hh designer bag that I still hoard away an pet every once in a blue moon (I'll never wear it again, but I love to look at it). The closest guess & winner was....
GINGEYBEAR! It's an amazing studded nylon & leather old school Prada Demi bag that I still worship. The narrative way that Miuccia used to curate collections down to the very tiniest perfect detail really inspired me as a young-pup designer. I'm not crazy about their collections post '05, '07 (Marni kind of filled the void, but not as well). I'll have leather sailboat & anchor pins from Prada, crochet pins, a leather fringe necklace that is unreal. I'll share sometime when I get a chance. They're really creative and so thoughtful. The bag is insanely clever, wild, and still very wearable...staid even. I'll share a pic of her too.
So- quick update! The new Lorcas have launched...I'm loving the new colors: Black, Hickory, Ink, Hottest Pink, Tomato, Maize. OMG, we were up all night shooting! Total labor of holiday Lorca love.
Also- new cuffs. Amazing. Amazing. We do have a few of the first run production still in stock if you're looking to get your hands on some. Our new production runs are much smaller than in past-HHness, so we cannot guarantee that leathers will always be available when we go into a 2nd run. It's a tiny run, actually. I do highly recommend to preorder items if you really have your eye on it, as that's a large part of what informs our production runs now. Also, if it's in stock and you want it, grab it. I know many of you are diehard HH leather collectors, so that's the scoop. I know the pain of missing a beauty.

Trophy Bags in Terracotta & Black are here. New Nackies are here. New Lorcas are here (I'm grabbing a Tomato or Maize for myself...kind of a Blood Orange. Still torn about the color name). I think the Lorca pattern is actually better than the original IMHO. Something is 'better' about it and it feels really fresh. Maybe it's the size and the awesome new leather. Clutch wallets are here and shipping as well!!!!!! Hurrah! Happy Holidays, indeed.
