I don't normally "do" brights but I just might succumb to the Rose Ramone...and even a (GASP!) purse. Methinks that in this case, Ms. Gertrude Stein was wrong...a rose is definitely NOT a rose is a rose. I'm so excited to see all the creative forces you're unleashing again so that we can reap the benefits! Thank you, Toni.

Hi Nikki!

Can't wait to see pics of hotties with their new cuffs.

Toni - do you mind a random question? How many bags do you own? Do you find that designing them makes you want to hold onto things more?

HHottie Pink Ramone it is...My Chanukah prezzie to me...will love it with Olive, VCP Celinas..and Chocolate Ramone..or solo to give me a much needed lift once I return to the frozen Apple....and hopefully I will pair it with a Bitter Lemon patent Ramone someday soon...hint hint.

:hugs: to all.

Toni I love the HHottie Pink Ramone! It looks amazing with the brushed gold studs. But my all time favorite Ramone is this one. Planning any other funky color combos?

I have that ginger Ramone with the grey studs...it's my prized Ramone. I don't wear it very often as I'm 'preserving' it.

The list that I made on the previous page of the thread is, basically, my current handbag collection. I do think that designing handbags makes me want to hold on to very special ones...pieces that I think have great merit and that I'd like to have around to talk to my grandkids about someday (even if those grandkids are puppies and kittens). Having access to so many great bags, however, also makes me give them away to special people. I've given cuffs off my wrists to people at events before...sometimes it's great and sometimes I really wish that I'd held on to that certain piece. Oh well.

I'm currently in love with the Nackie Satchel. It's going to be hard to move out of this gorgeous babe. The bags that I've stayed moved into the longest are: Wyeth tote in black (literally, a year at least...except for very special events where I rocked a clutch or small bag), Biblio bag in grape shine, Bowman bag in Poppy, Nico in chalk (we were best besties), Voyager Backpack in grey (just moved out and into the Nackie Satchel, but I stayed in that lovely bit of 90's love since September. Perfect for everything and I love how it's so clean and modern...holds a ton without looking like a hot mess). I think I'll be in the Nackie for a good long time...we have a great vibe going on and I love it with my DACE Star Cape!

I do have a secret 'other' designer handbag- can you guess who it's by. I'm a huge admirer of their body of work from, say, 1998 to 2002. I also collect many of their small leather goods and oddities. I should give a prize to the HHhottie that guesses this one.

Other than my secret love that I keep tucked away, I'm all HH except for some really lovely vintage bags that are unique due to construction or materials. I love vintage Koret bags & that was the first thing I bought with my first allowance at a garage sale with my grandmother when I was eleven. I still have that beautiful black suede kid Koret with the bakelite clasp. It's piped in gold inside and has a tiny perfect mirror and satin coin purse attached by a very fine golden chain. That bag started my obsession for vintage, and for vintage bags in particular. I had a gorgeous alligator doctor's satchel that I carried through high school (freak!) until it was destroyed by a bottle of Eternity spilling endlessly into the bottom and eating through the antique skin. *sigh*. That bag was amazing! I think I bought it for, like, $15 dollars at a thrift store in Kentucky, but it was the real deal.

Is it Jamin Puech? Their bags and accessories are amazing.
