This! I LOOOOOVE the Nackie satchel shape and design, and the leather looks absolutely divine! Unfortunately, the pics show me that it's too way big for me. :shucks: Drat. Might we be seeing this leather on other bags?

Toni, I know the dimensions of the Nackie and Biblio are about the same, but does the Biblio perhaps hang a little differently? It looks smaller on the Biblio video you did.

I can't wait to see some IRL photos of Bitter Lime and Nude as well as reviews of texture. I think I'm going to go ahead and pre-order Bitter Lime since I missed out. Wish I was down here long enough for me to have things delivered here since the NYC tax pretty much kills the benefits of any discount.

One of the cuffs that sorely tempts me is the Nude but since Saddle looks good on my skin tone I'm wondering if it will look ashen on my gold/peach/beige arm. I would give up Schwebes Bitter Lemon soda with a twist of Lime and a splash of Sapphire or Tanqueray forever for a Ramone in Bitter Lime.

Toni, am I imagining it or do I see some of the skeleton of the Hudson Triple Strap Satchel underneath the Nackie? I second what Fabae is asking although I have to look at both to see if I canfigure it out..though I'd rather hear it from the 2% leathermesiter 98% Vulcan. TIA.

Hello HHhotties!

Ben & I are taking a much, much needed Sunday off to rest & holiday shop, so I'm going to be brief. I'll be back on Monday with more info about the Nackie when we're ready to 'officially' launch her w/product video, etc.

The Nackie is not very large as it has a lot of slouch when it breaks in. It's certainly not larger than the Biblio & has more vertical height as it's a new style for us, that we're adding to the realm of 'brieftotes'. She's perfect. In the scale shot, Nicole is holding the Nackie away from her body, does appear larger than it is. The leather is also stiff & not broken in...I have my sample 'Teak' Nackie that I've worn for the past week & she's just a buttery puddle of love now.

Leather freaks- the Nackie leather is amazing...unlike anything we've used before. Very thick & very textured. Think elephant hide. Mmmm.

The first Nackie production run is small that we have in-stock now:
-black 5 (santaben is buying a black for me!)
-teak 5
-coralline 3

Official Nackie launch & mailer is tomorrow! We think the first run will go pretty fast. We only have 1 or 2 of the Pomps left from the Friday night launch.
My meaning- if you want a first-run Nackie, grab one now.

the nackie and hudson triple strap are definitely first cousins :) good eye!
regarding the nude cuffs for your skintone, i would actually recommend going with the tan pebbled veg-tan (trophy leather)...i think it would look best & i think you will love the new leather!

Thanks Toni :smile1: I love my Yam and Saddle Ramones and am wondering, other than texture, how close the Tan is to either/both of them.

BTW, it's wonderful that you are here answering questions and providing information rather than everyone (me included) trying to figure things out before ordering until someone actually has the HH item in hand. I hate to use the phrase: "Getting the information straight from the horse's mouth" and you in the same sentence but I know you won't be offended..at least I hope not :p

Here are some not-very-glamorous casual shots of the Nackie Satchel sample that I've been carrying in Teak for the last week...she is broken in & gorgeous. I've placed her near my HH Carryall and wallet for scale. Please excuse my PJ's if you peek them :)

Paelaf: The 'Moss' Nackies are coming in a little later than the current in-stock production due to the leather taking a bit longer to produce from the tannery. I'll keep you posted on when they arrive.

the carryall is a lilac shine one-off from our SP10 collection. i'd love to use this leather again.
the wallet is a paule marrot from back in the day...planning to bring this beauty back!
