I will do mod pics later as getting ready to go out. I did try it on in the store with the strap just on my shoulder and thought it looked ok and felt comfy. I will try crossbody tomorrow. Not as heavy either, the leather is quite supple.

Stunning! And such a beautiful pic in the sunshine! Have you decided whether to keep her or not?

Apologies for the gawd awful pictures. ... No definitely cannot be worn crossbody. The strap length at the longest is 40" and on the shortest is 35". Because it attaches inside the bag, you are really losing about 2 inches of drop. I am 5' tall for reference. For me, I like it on my shoulder, but I primarily will just arm carry.
Hmmmm I'm feeling unsure again. The leather is feels quite delicate almost thin. I understand this would be to make the bag lighter and easier to use. Whereas my Milaris had a more substantial feel, but was very heavy and not always a bag I wanted to carry.

Thanks for sharing! You are right, crossbody does not seem to be comfortable. But it’s such a beautiful bag and the colour is stunning!

So my thoughts on this bag. LV got a lot right with this bag but they got the strap totally wrong. I don’t think the milla will work as an every day bag for me so I traded the gold one (even though I loved the color) for a black one to use on weekends and date nights bc I don’t really care about the strap when I go out for dinner. It was the right compromise for me. The leather is sumptuous and overall it seems well made.

That is so disappointing to hear but I totally agree with you. So many times, a bag I've really liked has been let down by the strap -- it's too thin for what is supposed to be a work bag, it's not adjustable, or it's a canvas strap for a semi-dressy leather bag. Or, like the empreinte Artsy's, it looks beautiful but is just too stiff and uncomfortable.

That sounds like a good compromise. The black is very beautiful too and the right size for going out to dinner etc.
But do you have your eye on something else as an everyday bag?
