Coach will definately stand up to abuse. But I must say that my LV mono speedy 30 has survived much and still looks fantastic!

Yep, Coach for me, too. They just never die. I bought a Coach black calfskin leather diaper bag at an outlet about 7 years ago (don't laugh: it makes a great laptop / travel / work bag) and it still looks new. It's one of the only bags I"ve kept since becoming a Balenciaga addict ! :D

I'd have to say the older Coach leather bags. I have about 4 black ones, and while they have aged a bit, they've done so gracefully :amuse: . And they still look great and not (too) outdated!

On the subject of durability..... I just bought a Michael Kors berkley shopper. I spent the $$ because my Dooney & Burke started getting holes in the corners from wear and tear. I dont consider myself to b too harsh on my bags but I bought this Michael Kors exactly a month ago. And.... all four of the straps stitching (where the leather meets to acctual bag) have ripped! The triange stitching that is i guess the reinforcer is holding up but its only been a month. This bag was like $378 dollars. I can understand maybe after several months it might start looking a little worn in, but not after such a short amount of time. Has anyone else had trouble with this designer? I went to the web site and there isnt any type of contact information for comments or anything like that. I dont really want to return it becayse 1. I LOVE IT and 2. Its not the stores fault its the designers. SO.... does anyone have any advise or the same problem?
