Have you guys seen this Astor? I couldn't get away with wearing this bag, but I can appreciate it. It is interesting. I have not felt a calf hair textured bag before. I don't know what I think of it.

wow ..seeing this thread is really making me miss my luggage Astor ( I gave to my mom) ..I actually had blk and luggage and ended up returning the blk b/c i didn't want 2 of the same bags. I was also hunting for the longest time for the larger Astor back then, the one that was seen on all the models and can easily be put over your shoulder but never found one. Then last year I went to the outlet and saw it there but didn't buy it..now i'm regretting it :)
I'm also loving the new Uptown Astor in luggage but wonder about the gold h/w ...I think it looks nicer in silver H/W.
What do u ladies think?

I just added this pic & one other one to the MK Celeb thread, but isn't this a MK Astor Shoulder bag (maybe the slouch tote)?

My Astor satchel was purchased about 5 years ago at an outlet store and it is still gorgeous as can be. I love the irish linen lining and I think now the leathers that MK is using is just a little different than the original.

I'd love to see a pic of your Astor CR!!
The originals are almost always the BEST version of a handbag - I've found this to be true for just about every designer and the bags that are re-produced season after season. The longer a bag is produced, the lower the quality seems to be - I bet the original Astors are probably some of the most well made handbags MK's ever produced!
