hello there,
I absolutely love my new mini lady bag! It's much easier to carry around than my bucket bag yet so chic!!
Now I thinking about getting a regular size for my 13" laptop and A4 size books.
I'm wondering if I could carry top handle on my shoulder. And is it a good idea to carry 1.7 kg of stuff with it arround?

You'd have to have very small skinny arms to comfortably carry the top handle over your shoulder. The handle on the mini is pretty similar to that on the regular... You could probably fit a laptop in it but I personally wouldn't myself.

Hi everyone, does anyone have a lady in tumbled leather? I see it’s lined in canvas so does that make the bag quite heavy? I’ve seen saffiano and veg tan in real life and love how light they are. Their website doesn’t have bag weight indicated.

Hi,

I have the regular size in tumbled leather and I don’t find it to be heavy at all. I have never compared it to the veg tan or saffiano directly so I can’t speak to that, but it is definitely one of my lighter bags. Hope that helps.

Can the mini lady be worn cross body comfortably? Also do you need to have more than one rivet done up on the strap for it to hold the bag or can you put it on the last hole and rivet and the strap will hold the bag?

I am a little late to the MG party having only recently discovering the brand. I have a mini lady on the way and wonder if the leather will always be cardboard stiff like people are saying? I am wondering if there are any hacks to speeding up the lived in feel for this bag?

Mine is. The lady is one of the only couple I kept and is still stiff. It is veg tanned. I bought it because it was stiff and would always hold structure.

The calf and tumbled leather are both softer and slouchier so they don't hold the stiff shape, you could get one of those if you want it to be softer.

As far as wearing it in, I found with all my veg tanned bags after just one wear they start to get the marks veg tanned gets and from there it starts to get a sheen over it which blends the marks a bit. Mine doesn't seem to get any new scratches on it these days. But it does have a worn look about it. I love the veg tan for its worn look and structure.
