Hello all. Apologies if this has been asked before but I'm sure this has happened to someone else too but I can't find much via Google... :confused1:

I lost the little leather securing piece that holds the two ties together. It slipped off in a big soccer field of grass :annoyed:

What can I do to replace? Should I just get a piece made?

Yeah personally I don't think it's a great NYC bag. Not a quick get in and out of bag. And if it's not secured it can tip if too heavy. I myself avoid using it at times because it's just not a good commuting bag.

Why wouldn't they just add a magnetic closure? Surely the aesthetics won't be that different?

I was even told by someone working the the Manhattan boutique that if it has anything heavy in it, it won’t stay closed. Better to buy a small one for evening when you don’t need a lot of stuff. The Sun bag is great from for commuting. It’s easy to access. You can leave it open or close it. I’m not sure why it’s not more popular. Everyone wants the bucket bag. Coach has been doing those on and off for years. I prefer a structured bag. I don’t like tall bags. Everything falls to the bottom and you look like a train wreck trying to find anything even if you are organized and keep everything in separate pouches.

Does anyone have modshots of the mini lady in tumble leather? I have been eyeing one for a while, but I am concerned that the less-structured material won't work well with this particular style. All of my other experience with MG is with the veg tanned leather, so I'm too scared to take the plunge. Thanks!

i don't have one (which might be silly of me to reply) but i do have 2 tumble buckets and they really slouch a lot. so that might be a concern if you're going for the tumble one. I do have a calf lady and it doesn't hold that much of a great shape compared to saffiano lady. hope this (somehow) helps!

I’m petite and at 158cm I’m not sure which size would fit my frame more, the mini mini or mini lady. Could some ladies here provide me with some mod shots of the bags? I can’t seem to find many mod shots of the mini mini/mini lady bags. Thanks in advance!!

I can’t seem to find any mod shots of the mini mini on non-models. It looks tiny on the models. There isnt even a mini mini lady bag hashtag on Instagram. I bought a mini bucket without much research except looking at the dimensions and the bag basically looks really bulky on me.

Maybe I should just forget about this bag. Too few reviews on this. I’m sure you got rid of all your MG bags for a reason too. Thanks for the input.

Just bought a regular Lady Bag in Blu Tumble Leather! I love it, but want to keep it from getting too much slouchier. I read a comment elsewhere that someone uses a Samorga Alexa insert--has anyone tried that or any other insert for the reg lady bag? I need help with organization too so it's not just about keeping the bag's structure. Would love any suggestions!

The Pelkus organizer I use in my Speedy 30 fits in there. Since it only has one pocket, I’ll be using it in there as well.

HELP please....

I have been eyeing the MG lady bag since it came out. but no stores sell it in Canada. I like to touch and feel before I order one. since MG has a store at LA, I bought a Saffinao Lady bag a week ago. I carried on the plane in the gift bag and back to Canada the next day. when I got home, one of the rivets is gone!!!! contact the store, they can't do anything. emailed customer service, they got back to me pretty quick then sent me new rivets. I just got it. it's the screw on type (isn't that kinda strange??). it's looks odd with the 2 original ones on the strap. I can't take the original ones off cuz they are not the screw on type. The screw on type has a diff finish/flatten top, slimmer and longer. From far look fine, but I can tell they are different. :(
I just emailed them and asked for a new strap with original rivets. is that too much to ask? but it's a band new bag!

Did anyone have problems with the rivets on the adjustable shoulder strap? does anyone have the screw on type of rivets? Is it secure?

Any suggestions? THANKS!

I just decided I need the Lady bag... but I wonder if it’s safe to buy a pre-loved one since it’s such a minimalist bag I guess it wouldn’t be so easy to spot a fake one. What do you think???

you can always ask for authentication like reciepts and tags, plus there's a thread here that you cna ask for the Mod's help in verifying if the bag is authentic :) hope you find the right one!
