Hi everyone, this is my first post in the forum! I just received my second Mansur Gavriel bucket bag yesterday and I was a bit disappointed with it. The parts where the leather folds in at the top seems really dry and I've had two scuffs that look like cuts that have penetrated the leather. Granted, they are two tiny scuffs so they are not that noticeable but I am worried if they will get worse over time?

I am thinking a bit of conditioning (I have Chamberlain's No 3) would help with the dry leather, but I am also considering not touching it at all and return it. My first bucket in Black/flamma was in great condition when it arrived so I maybe I'm being a bit picky with this cammello one. What would you do if you were me? Would you return it? Thank you!:smile1:

Welcome!! It is really a matter of what you think-if you can return it, and you're on the fence, return it. If you can accept the imperfections, then condition and keep it. You have to be happy with your bag ultimately.

Thank you! I was determined to return the bag last night but the more I look at it, the more attached I feel to it haha. :smile1:

I ordered a white bucket bag back in Feb from Bergdorf. This color was discontinued and I was so disappointed so I snapped it even if I had to wait for two months. Today I got an email from BG saying that my bag is on its way to me! I am so excited. BTW I know there is still white bucket bag available on the official website but BG offers free shipping and I grabbed the bag during the gift card event. I do want the pink box that only comes from the official website but I love my money more :)

I just emailed barneys about restocking the Saffiano Black Flama Regular Bucket Bag and they said they will not be restocking this item!!! I'm kind of in shock. I was hoping in a couple months they would restock and now I'm really crushed :(

Bought the black/marina at the last relaunch on March 29th and got my bag on Monday April 4th. Been using it for two days now and I think I'm falling in love with it a lil bit more every day! The leather looks a lil' dry on the folds so I'm waiting for Chamberlain #1 to arrive in the mail to condition the bag and hopefully that will help. I'm still on cloud 9 :loveeyes:

Sad! They said in the Purseblog chat that they are "considering expanding our offering of the saffiano collection for the future." It might be related?

I finally carried my mini bucket from the last restock of 2015 today. I had been on the fence about whether I wanted to keep it or try to sell it, and since I had made any choices, I figured today was as good a day as any to test it. It was great to carry; it's so light that I barely felt it was there, even though I had a few things in it including a smallish camera. I think I'm going to keep it.

I've been eyeing the large Bucket in Brandy since the most recent restock but I can't bring myself to buy it.
