I finally found a mini bucket but it has a squished corner along with a few minor scratches. I'm most concerned about the corner since it's in front. Should I still get it or wait for another? Would it bug you?

It would bother me. Even if you stuff it till it pops out, the wrinkles will remain a reminder of it.

I received my third MG bag later this week and I'm very disappointed. Here's my rant, if you reach the end please give me your feedback. TIA!

First issue:
The bag smells like it has been heavily treated with chemicals and it gives me a headache after handling it for just a few minutes! I have two vegetable-tanned buckets that smell like beautiful leather. I purchased the calf leather thinking, since it was more money and was made with different leather, it would be of higher quality.

Second issue:
The piece that holds the pouch is already rusted.

Third issue:
The MG stamp on the bag bars only half of the "M" and other letters are cracking.

This bothers me since I spent $705 expecting a high quality product, and it's clear this release was sub-par.

That's what the metal stud on the pouch that was on the rosa I sent back. I also had it on a veg tanned which I returned a while ago.
My calf one doesn't smell as bad as what I've read on here but it does have a slight scent and is nothing like the veg tanned. I also don't think the calf leather is nicer than the veg which I expected it to be. I do like it at the colour but I'm not sure it's worth the extra $$ in general.

Just a quick update on my mini bucket and its creased corner. It wasn't a crease at all but just a scratch. I managed to buff it out with Chamberlain's Leather Milk #1 and it looks as good as new! Here's a pic. So happy that my little black/royal is a keeper!

I would be disappointed too...I have my own little issues with my first ever black flamma mini bucket as well. This weekend i did a little DIY to re-glue the sides where the shoulder strap is sewn to the bag. Mine, unfortunately, was partially lifting up.

Disappointed...waited all this time for this coveted bag only to discover sub-par quality.

I've sent MG email about the issues....and i still haven't heard back. :nono:

may I ask whether your rosa is from this batch of calf or previous seasons...? just wondering if the texture of calf (apart from peony and moss) has become softer and slouchier. TIA!

I was undecided between Brandy and Cammello at the recent MG website relaunch, but Brandy reminds me very much of a bag my mother used every day when I was growing up in the 80s. It was also a bucket bag with a drawstring closure and I was very tickled by the similarity! :D

I have seen a couple of black/flamma buckets in the wild recently, but only in passing, not close up.
