I've been thinking a lot about getting the mini backpack (if I can ever get my hands on it). It's just so attractive in Cammello/Rosa! I have a couple of questions though.

Does the tanned leather become soft and slouchy after a while, particularly the base? I feel like it might look too structured on me, I want something more relaxed.

How does the flap close exactly? Is it magnetic? Does it stay secure if you have too many things inside?

there are two slits under the flap and under the tie strings. I usually put the strings through one and then the other hole to secure the bag.

yes it's the large size. I emailed lee from samorga for a custom made insert (Insert size: W9" x H8.5" x D5.5").. it can be slightly bigger but I want to see if it will fit the regular bucket as well

i love the zipper but i should probably try to use the samorga inserts I have already.

That is brilliant! I use an insert bag as well but it has no zipper. Thinking to get the zipper one like yours ^^

I rarely used it, I'm so scared to get scratches >.< I'm considering to sell it but it's difficult to let it go either

yes I'm afraid it does get scratched easily but they will eventually even out and the beautiful patina will develop with time!! u can take a look at the broken-in mg threads

Hi mamoizelle, no, this is somewhere in the Swiss alps!
Yes, I agree. I noticed that the veg leather tend to scratch more easily than the calf leather. My flamma bucket still looks pristine compared to my other bags.

Good review! By chance do you carry your laptop in the bag?

Sorry for the super delayed response. No, I don't carry a laptop. I think you can comfortably fit a smaller one, but with a larger laptop, you may not be able to really cinch it closed.
