My college roommate could not pronouce 'cinnamon'

Sometimes the poor customers have a hard time pronouncing 'macchiato.' I jokingly told one customer that I used to call it a 'caramel Mikado' (Which is the title of a Gilbert & Sullivan musical.) He laughed and asked me to sing some of it for him. I sang some of "Three Little Maids." This was in November. Recently he was giving his order and he finished it with, "And a chorus of the Mikado, please."

I had to oblige him with "Three little maaaaaiiiiiiids from school."

Massachusetts is pretty easy! Mass-uh-choo-sets! If you think the state is hard to say- you should hear the accents Boston-ers have. :)

Anyways, I saw vuh-ton. and Hermes is Er-mes. I've been having problems with Botkier, so I say bot-kee-ear. :-p I could be wrong though.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the boston accent. The english do not pronounce their R's ,neither do we. So its just the rest of the country who can't speak the language. HRMPH!!!! lol

In easy terms it's VU-TON.

Hell the president of these United States can't annunciate Nuclear.

I sent a message to him that it's NEW-CLEAR...but I guess it didn't help.

But about LV...Oprah can call it what she wants... Yeah...she's THAT rich!

I'm French Canadian and I've lived in a French society for almost my entire life. Thus it's pronounced: "LOO-EEE VWEE-TON"
Louis=LOO-EEE where the s is silent and the accent is on the 2nd syllable
Vuitton=VWEE-TON where there's a strong nasal sound on the second accenting syllable

PS to: Chaneller: Hermes is pronounced as AIRRR-MEZ (the R's are to show that you need to roll your "hard" R's located near your tonsils (or back of mouth), eg Italian has "soft" R's located near the front of the tongue)
Normally X, S, Z are silent in French but Hermes is a Greek god's name, thus an exception, so the S in Hermes is PRONOUNCED with a Z sound! Also to Hennaria: H is silent because it's ALWAYS a French rule, thus NOT because of the 'accent grave' (I don't know what the equivalent of this is in English) on the E in Hermes. Also someone was asking about Botkier? It's pronounced BOT-KEE-EH where BOT is like "i just BOUGHT a watch" and the ER in Botkier is the equivalent of an 'accent aigu' eg "so you bought a watch, EH???"

I hate when people say Louis as in like st. Louis... it's pronounced LOUIE but spelled LOUIS!! uhhh so dont write, I buy Louie!!! you buy LOUIS!!! uhhhh pet peeve!

My cat's name is Louis, and when I brought him in for his first vet appointment, the vet technician looked at her file and said, "Lewis?" I remember thinking, "It's LOUIS!"

(When I made the appointment I spelled the name out. It was written on his file.)

In an episode of The Sopranos, Carmella was going to Paris, so Tony bought her a Louis Vuitton wallet and stuffed it with money for her trip. (He pronounced it "Louis Vooton").
