I was about to create a similar thread! I have the pronunciation thread saved to my bookmarks but it doesn't have all the bags.

yes it is. but if you use them with a french accent, which is the way you are supposed to say/pronounce them... most people will look at you like... OK SMARTASS.ush:

Who knows? I learned real quick that that's the way Houston St. in NYC is pronounced too! Apparently it's the correct way. For example- In Kentucky we have a city named Versailles. Do we pronounce it Vers-eye? Nope, in good old KY it's Ver-sales. Oh yeah...

Haha... That makes me mad when people call it Ver-sales! I know thats how its pronounced, but it seems so stupid if you've been to the palace... Thanks for posting, BTW...

that's why when i go into the store i either point @ the one i want & asked them how to say it or write it down before i go & show them my list; haha.

Wish I would have seen this earlier. Was in the LV store today talking about my "No E" bag. It was not until the saleswoman was explaining what I was doing that I heard the correct pronunciation.
