The LV Pronunciation Thread

I think it is "bat-tee-nol"....I bought mine last year and I think this was what I heard from the SA. Correct me if i am wrong....

rhi - this is a more of a nasal sound

I speak French and I pronounce it something like this:

"baa-tee-njee-oL au-Ree-zoN-taL"

First word: primary stress on "oL", secondary stress on "njee"
Second word: primary stress on "taL", secondary stress on "Ree"

L for a very long and "alveolarized" sound
R for a uvular R (ie roll the hard R in the back of your mouth)
N for a very nasal sound


As for the above pronuncation thread, I just took a look at it and must say that I disagree with many of them... I think it's VERY MISLEADING and should be deleted, imo.
