New to the brand and considering a Puzzle Bag. Can you please tell me the difference of the regular puzzle and the puzzle edge? Thanks.

It's the construction and style of the bag. The regular puzzle has multiple smaller leather "puzzle" pieces sewn onto a larger piece of leather. The puzzle edge has multiple smaller leather "puzzle" pieces sewn together at the edges (without that additional leather "backing" piece). Personally I like both the regular puzzle and puzzle edge.
Actually I believe the puzzle edge is composed of a single piece of leather, whereas the original puzzle involves a base with multiple pieces of leather attached on top. It's hence much faster to put together a puzzle edge vs the original puzzle.

I am a fan of Loewe because of its leather quality and craftsmanship. Puzzle bag is one of their product line that shows off their skill. Letting go of their traditional skill in trade with the economy is a trend we see with many brands today. So what makes a brand special? I will stick with those who value their tradition, identity and patronage.

There was also a post from a few days ago saying they're discontinuing the Sand color. Why? That's the most gorgeous color to me....do I need to get it asap?!
I confirmed with a Loewe SA. she was surprised and asked me how I found out. Apparently, they might be discontinued sooner than end of the year. According to her, they are no longer getting restocks of the original puzzle and instead getting more of the puzzle edge.

No, I feel like that would damage the strap in the long run. I would probably just buy a different strap to use with the bag if I had one.
there are still quite a few classic puzzles in the fall winter precollection which has dropped on 1 June.
I really hope that they hang on for a little bit more, I am still thinking about getting a medium size
