I just really love that bag!!

Hi , I am looking to purchase preloved, a small size puzzle bag with the Calcifer on it. How is the opening of the puzzle bag? is it restrictive? Being satin calfskin it should soften?

I’ve had the small calcifer puzzle with crystals for 2 years. The satin calfskin hasn’t softened for me, it maintains structure a lot more than the classic pebbled calf. The opening is not restrictive at all, I can get in and out of the bag very easily, but the top flap never got that dimple that a lot of people like (fine for me, I don’t like slouchy bags). The only thing I’ll say is satin calf is more delicate than I anticipated. I have to be more careful with it than my Chanel lambskin CF.

Did they pull out from NM/BG the featherlight version? I swear I saw it there a few weeks ago but I can’t find any right now. Or maybe it was sold out?
It was available to order from there. Then I noticed it had changed to you had to call a phone number listed on the item page. I figured it was for exclusivity. Maybe it will only be available directly from Loewe going forward.

what color is the small puzzle? I have the blueberry in the small and the leather has softened for me a bit, and I almost have the dip (when I force it lol). I've found a sort of variation in this depending on the color because I also own the mini black satin calfskin puzzle and it feels really stiff still. I do use that one less though, but I can definitely tell the black leather is more structured.

Could be that they are all sold out? I see that even on Loewe’s website, every color option for the small featherlight is sold out except for the turquoise! At least that’s the case here in the US.

Yeah it was probably sold out with a very limited inventory for the department stores to make it more exclusive. I just didn’t think it would be sold out this fast.

Excited to share I've finally achieved Puzzle Peace now that I scored a 2017 small original Puzzle in stone blue! I got this second-hand on eBay from a reputable company in Japan. I love it, it literally fits all of my daily essentials and still has room for more. The quality is insane. The seller rated it in "fair" condition, but the bag is basically pristine. There are a few scratches on the metal feet at the bottom, but other than that, this bag is brand new. I had to pay some nasty tariffs, but the total price was still under $2K!

I already have a large tan classic puzzle that I use as an 'every other day' bag (Daily essentials + laptop, travel essentials, books, etc.). The small size is my ideal size for an everyday bag, but I refuse to buy a post-2018 small puzzle. I also wanted to get it in a non-black/brown colorway as I already have the tan an also a hundred black leather bags in my closet.

I literally woke up a week ago and decided to look up "small Loewe Puzzle bag" on eBay on a whim. Six days later this came to my doorstep.😍

What a special shade to have! Can you share compared to your current classic tan puzzle, do you find this puzzle's leather is "thinner"? I am keen on getting a pre-loved one with feet as well. Also can you please share if this wider strap sit more comfortably on the shoulder?

Thank you so much! Happy to share my thoughts and I hope this helps. I do think the leather for the small is marginally thinner than the leather used for the large, due to the size. However, the large (when not stuffed or filled with anything) is very slouchy due to the surface area. I would say the slouch is comparable to the featherlight small Puzzles and the bag will fold in on itself quite easily if not filled. The small one is a lot stiffer and feels more structured. The stitching that runs through the bag holds the many layers together and acts as a structure for the bag. The small can slouch but I know it will take some time. It holds its shape when I wear it as a crossbody, vs. the large, which molds itself to my body when used.

My general rule of thumb is that wider straps will always be more comfortable. For the Puzzle, I will admit that I have never tried on the thinner crossbody strap, so I can't really compare how the two feel on the shoulder. I do think the straps for both bags feel very comfortable, but I am also a guy so the weight distribution feels a bit different for me.
