The Loewe Puzzle

It arrived this afternoon I tried to get a picture in natural light that shows what the colour looks like in person but it's difficult it looks really different in different possessions. Both pictures are in natural light on a grey day. The first one with the window behind the second with the window to the side. The tone in person is more like the first picture but a bit dadmrker/richer maybe. The colour kind of gives a lighter burgandy or like a vintage feeling dark red lipstick kind of like Lisa Eldridge velvet jazz. I really like the colour in person. It feels a lot lighter than the original puzzle and the leather feels more like a flamenco but thinner. The outside feels more like the original flamenco because there is a bit of pebbling and the inside more like the flamenco purse. I really like the gold hardware against the red and the new strap design. It seems amaller than the original puzzle somehow but i dont think it is i think it just feels like there is less bulk because of the slouch/smoush and the weight. When they tied the tag on they tied it the wrong way so the Loewe isn't visible but I might keep it that way. The only thing it didn't come with is the second dustbag

Well, i saw the featherlight and honestly i prefer the original in classic calfskin and will buy a preloved in tan. The featherlight was stunning inside and out but the SA in madrid said it’s not the best choice for durability, which is something i value in my puzzles. I was thankful for her honesty. I did end up with a stunning mini in a bright seasonal color i could not put down in the edge style. While the original design is my preference, the edge is definitely much dressier than my other puzzles and perfect as a day to night or event bag. Also i cannot recommend a visit to the flagship in Madrid more. So gorgeous and the best service.

Well, i saw the featherlight and honestly i prefer the original in classic calfskin and will buy a preloved in tan. Same leather but because of the flat panels, the puzzle seems more delicate

Agree with @Greentea. I don't have personal experience of them but imagine the shape of the puzzle with it's corners and angles makes it more prone to scuffs and visible wear than the flamenco purse with it's fluid dumpling shape. Either design may scratch of course. Hopefully someone who owns these can chime in!

I have had a look at the featherlight last week. I agree, the leather seems to be very sensible for scratches and it's also a bit shinier then the Flamenco purse. The lining is so beautiful, but also sensible, and I would have concerns to put things in the bag

I have decided not to buy.

I have both the featherlight and the mini flamenco purse. As I kind of mentioned in my post above the leathers feel similar but a bit different. The featherlight is a but shinier unclear why but it also seems to have more of a pebble effect on the outside than the purse at least to the touch. Not sure if that would impact the durability. I haven't noticed any wear on either yet but I haven't had the featherlight very long and I expect the previous owner only used it for a social media post. The sharper corners of the puzzle might get more wear but the feet might protect the bottom a bit.

I tried on the featherlight for the first time and I find it stunning It feels so soft and slouchy and for me much more comfy on the body in comparison to the original Puzzle which is quite boxy and stiff when it's new. Also much easier to open than the original. I am not very tall and I think it looks less bulky. I really, really like it, just the colors aren't my favorites for now (thank God haha)
And I'm not a huge fan of the tag, I think it kind of distracts from the design.

But, yes, it’s expensive and people on here seem to be bashing it. I’m not sure why - it looked so cool and felt so awesome. This would be my first Loewe bag - I’ve been eyeing the puzzle for years, but there was never one that made me want to pull the trigger before, although recently I saw a girl with the puzzle hobo in avocado green, and I loved that, but sadly, that is from a couple of seasons ago and is discontinued. I was thinking of buying one preloved (aka used), but I am afraid of spending $2k on a fake (even with aurhentication because some fakes are really good). And I am just in love with the look, feel and color of the dark butter featherlight.
What to do???? Sigh.

I also been eyeing the puzzle for years and never pulled the trigger until now. I got the one in black and absolutely love it, been wearing it a lot since I got it and love the feel and the look of it. Is buttery smooth and you can wear different ways. I have to say I love it, no regrets!

I have the featherlight puzzle in dark butter and indeed it is a great one! Also so light, which makes it very easy for caring around all day

If I don’t already have three puzzles, I’d get the featherlight in a heartbeat and it may be the only one I buy! I say go for it! It ticks all the boxes for me, the lightness, the slouch, the softness and the interior leather! 😍
