The Loewe Flamenco

Hey everyone! I exchanged my mini flamenco for the next size up and got a matching strap to go along with it. I’m a guy, and the mini looked a bit small on my 5’9 frame. This regular size fits me much better.
The anagram strap is adjustable but even at the longest setting, it still feels a bit short. It falls around my torso like a belt bag, so I wish it was a little longer. But I’m really liking the thickness of the anagram strap. The leather strap that comes with the regular flamenco is really thin, so I much prefer the anagram strap.

Very nice! But yes all the jacquard straps from the women’s side of Loewe tend to run too short for guys even at their maximum length. The men’s jacquard straps are longer though they also come with larger clasps which can make it harder to attach to bags like the flamenco.

Has anyone used a leather conditioner on their flamenco? I got the regular size flamenco clutch in warm desert, but had to exchange it because there was a scratch on the one I initially received (I suspect it was on display). But then the one I have now doesn’t seem quite as supple as the first one I had. So now I’m wondering if conditioning it will help or if I should just wait and see if it’ll soften with wear. Or do another exchange…

I was recently at the boutique looking at flamenco bags. I wanted to try two colours, vintage khaki and (I think the name is correct) sage green. The vintage khaki I tried was on display and the leather was super soft. The SA had to go and get a new sage green one for me to try as it wasn’t on display.
When she brought out the sage green, I noticed that it wasn’t as soft as the vintage khaki. I asked her about it and she said the vintage khaki was noticeably softer as it had been out in display and the the sage green would eventually get like this…
I have since bought the vintage khaki (love it!) and I don’t think it is as soft as the display model. Also, I did ask the SA if I should apply anything to it and she said there was no need.

Oh perfect! That is exactly what I was hoping to hear. Congrats on your vintage khaki. I was eyeing that color too - it’s beautiful.

Wow all these talk made me pull the trigger on a black mini! I found the perfect braided strap for it. My very own so-black flamenco.

Is this new strap the same width as the original strap that comes with the flamenco? It attaches just the same right? Just want to make sure I dont need anything like those additional attachment rings they sell IT LOOKS AMAZING - SO pumped to grab this!

Oops! Yeah you’d need some sort of ring cos it doesn’t attach the same way as the original strap. I got cheap rings online that work the same. And the width is broader too.

Would you mind sharing where you got the rings please? I got the gold donut chain when I picked up my mini flamenco and I really want to use the chain with my puzzle but the clasps are too small. The SA mentioned about buying the Loewe rings but if I can get simple rings cheaper online then that is so much better!

Sure! I bought it from shopee.sg from the seller lancel.sg. Ships from China.

pls post pics of how the donut chain looks with the puzzle!
I will! Sorry for asking you again but I’m looking on shopee.sg and can’t find that seller… What was the name of the item you got? I can try and search it that way. I’ve been searching for ‘bag rings’, don’t know if that’s the right term I should be searching :confused1:
