do any of you use a purse organizer with your flamencos or do you just let it sag? contemplating whether to get one or not
I have a small and it doesn't sag. It comfortably holds my phone, keys, a small wallet, a mirror, a small bag of necessities and sunglasses. I can see how if you have a larger one an organizer might make it easier to find things.

Ive had the medium, for a month so far and I have an umbrella seeming to do the job. I’m in tokyo on holiday and they have the best range of compact umbrellas (mine is 20cm long, maybe 3cm diameter and weighs 120g). It sits along the bottom and seems to reduce the sag at least

An organiser would be good though!

Hello,
I have the mini size which holds shape and does not need an organiser.

But I also have the large size for which I have two organisers. The bigger organiser I use for storage, this one supports the whole height so that the bag stand straight and the sides don’t cave it. The second one which is short I use when wearing the bag with my laptop to distribute the weight on the bottom of the bag and to put smaller items in the side pockets. I attach photos for both.
I hope this helps, have a nice day

How did you get on with this bag @danstyles? Did it soften with use?
I actually bought the monochrome bag from the real real, and I had another flamenco bag at home that I got from the loewe store. The texture and thickness of the leather felt vastly inferior on the monochrome flamenco, which made me question the authenticity of the bag. I ended up returning it after a few days.

Anyone else have a vintage Flamenco, and have any resources on dating? I just impulse purchased this one and am excited to get it, but can't seem to find anything online! If anyone else has one, I'd love to know what leathers they worked with at the time and maybe the decade! If I find out (I'm even searching for old catalogues) I'll share here of course too.

Thank you! I had a similar situation and ended up also returning, so this was really helpful info!

I have two vintage flamencos, one in pink with an orange strap and one all in blue. The pink is basically the reverse of this orange one, and this article is from 2011:

I quickly found the leather on the pink one would rub off if I put anything small in the back pocket (so, wherever there was friction against my body). When I took it in to be conditioned the SA said it was because it was lamb skin, which makes sense - it’s the softest leather I own. Not sure if yours will be the same?

You can probably date yours by the fact it has the large anagram over the corner, but it may just be the luck of finding the right article about it! I’ve seen the anagram done like that on some other vintage models.

The lining is also different on mine. If I’ve remembered it the right way round, my pink one is lined with fabric similar to what they use now, while my blue has a thinner, shinier black lining. I don’t know what the date is for my blue one.

Found this crinkled flamenco bag secondhand on mercari! Does anyone own other colors of it?
I googled and only 3 colors showed up: Pink, blue, and black. I thought there are only mini, medium, large, and XL size in flamenco bags but the seller listed it as small in Japanese.
I love this little bag, it's so cute and I don't see it very often.

Oh it’s nice! I’ve never seen crinkled ones before. I also googled and the black especially looks more like a square shape - or even a vertical shape - compared with the horizontal rectangle most flamencos follow.
