I bought the medium flamenco purse (so slightly different) in sea salt. I got it at the end of the summer so I haven’t had a lot of chance to use it. Also this style sits right under the arm, instead of at the hip so I feel color transfer is less of a concern. The color is absolutely amazing though.
Yes, I feel like I could adjust the flamenco to sit above my hip as I’m taller and have a long waist but I do wear high waisted jeans and I just wish I knew how bad the color transfer was…but the sea salt is spectacular it’s a fabulous year round color

Totally agree it works year round. I guess I should’ve said I haven’t gotten out much since summer fun has ended.

I emailed Loewe and they said can’t treat the bag with anything just don’t wear with colors. I’m like excuse me for $2850 you should be able to wear with jeans-these luxury brands are absurd
Here’s an expensive light color bag but don’t wear it or it’ll turn colors
Cool. Sounds like I’ll be returning sadly

Color transfer has got nothing to do with the price of the bag.
It's got to do with common sense.

Actually I've not had color transfer issues for most Loewe bags I have, and I am in jeans almost all the time. The only one I had issues with non-removable transfer was my monochrome orange puzzle, and that color transfer was actually onto the edge glazing of the bag and not the leather itself. There was actually some transfer onto the leather but it wiped off pretty easily. YMMV but I don't think it's as major a issue as you might anticipate it to be?

Great to know, thanks!! :)

Are they kind of renaming the Flamenco line? I noticed that what was introduced as the Flamenco Purse, is now simply called Flamenco on the website. And the original Flamenco is now the Flamenco clutch (but still comes with the leather strap)

I have a vintage tassel, Large and XL Flamenco and on all the knots loosen up a bit when carried. It doesn't bother me though. Whenever I can I just retighten them or leave them as is. Any excuse to touch and fondle the leather.

I really want one in the new Vetiver color. So gorgeous!
Hi! I wonder if you can fit a 13 inch laptop in the flamenco in L? Is it too delicate to use as laptop workbag?

I only have my 11 inch tablet and it does fit, but makes the bottom sag a bit on the L. I don't think a 13 inch laptop would comfortably fit. And keep in mind that you wouldn't be able to cinch the sides on the L size. The extra weight of a laptop in addition to the regular stuff you put in your handbag would be too heavy for me personally.
Here's the L with said 11 inch tablet. Not much room left length and height wise.

And in the XL, which will fit a lot more than your 13 inch laptop...

Hope that helps a bit.

Hello, I use my Large Flamenco as my work bag alternating with my Large Puzzle bag. Both of those fit my 14inch ThinkPad. I can still close the magnetic button and sinch in the sides a little bit. In my experince, it is a comfortable and easy to maintain bag. I do have some marks on the leather but it usually wipes clean and scratches disappear if I use a leather polish on it. I must admit the Flamencos are my favourite type of bag due to the comfort, usability (easy to get in and out) and durability.

I am also attaching a foto from the store where they showed me how to wear it cross body by adding this thick strap (my preferred way of wearing it), or how to dress it up for the evening by adding the donut chain, tucking in the handles and wearing it as clutch.

Have fun choosing the right bag for you.

How did you attach the strap to the large Flamenco? That’s a great idea btw!

Hi despair, I use both the donut chain and the jacquard strap to use this as cross body bag. Here in this picture you can see I attach the donut chain , because its shorter , to the knots on each side to gain the length of the chain I need. As for the longer adjustable jacquard strap I clip it to the exposed bit of strap on each side.
