Maybe you could have a look at a canvas strap? They are a bit softer then these braided straps
Here is a picture of my Flamenco with my Hermes strap:

I love the canvas one on yours so I checked but they don’t have one without branding in a colour I like.. maybe they will release more:)

So the Mini has arrived and I love it. Just ..... after a while I detected something like a little scratch or so at the edging :/ do you think they would repair it? Not sure if I want to return/exchange it, I think the old version is low in stock and the shipping took a few days. On the other hand it should be flawless for that money...
Btw, I sent it in for repair 5 or 6 weeks ago and it arrived back today. The edging is now flawless🥳 I am very happy I sent it in, the customer service was very fast and helpful and they paid for the shipping. I think I'm gonna enjoy it more now because it would have nagged me seeing that little imperfection all the time

I picked up the mini flamenco purse and it arrived today. Its very light soft and squishy. I also have a mini flamenco (the anagram version). The mini flamenco seems a bit bigger and like it would hold a bit more than the purse. But the purse seems alot lighter even with the chain which feels substantial. The leather and suede lining of the purse feels thinner softer and more maliable, and the bag is less structured; you could scrunch it in your hand if you wanted to. The strap reminds me of the bottega loop strap but adjustable. The strap of the purse can be longer than the flamenco but with the way it adjusts I don't think it would be comfortable after a while on the longest setting as the longer it is the closer together the knots are so they are on your shoulder unless you move the bag to sit more forward or backwards on your body

Those colors! Wow!

I bought the mini flamenco before the price increase on Bergdorf but now Rakuten isn’t honoring the cashback. I actually prefer the older anagram version but can only find soft white being sold preloved.

Does anyone have a color comparison of angora and soft white?
It seems like angora is more cream where as soft white is a brighter off white.

Not sure if you’ve followed up with them, but Sometimes rakuten doesn’t add the cash back unless you follow up.

I have the angora mini flamenco and the mini puzzle in soft white. Here are some impromptu pics taken in my closet…lighting is not the best. The third bag is my half moon bag.

The soft white is more of a brighter white but still has some greyish undertone. The angora is a creamy off white which is definitely much more warm than the soft white. I love both but the angora is more versatile imo. The half moon bag is more similar to the soft white, but it lacks the greyish undertone that the mini puzzle has.

I have! I’ve contacted them twice, once when the order was shipped and no word from them and then another 2 weeks later with the delivery confirmation. They’re still “waiting for Bergdorf to confirm” my purchase.

Also, thank you so much for your photos! It’s definitely helpful. I agree, angora is more versatile and I prefer a cream white over a cool toned bright white.

I have a question for the mini flamenco owners!

Having read through this thread I see that Loewe used to make a longer strap for the mini flamenco but in recent collections have shortened the strap. I checked out the helpful comparison pics from @ineedsomething - thank you!

Does anyone know how long the older strap was or could measure please? I'm able to get current measurements online for new stock, but just curious as to how long the older strap was in comparison.

Hi, I'm just now getting my $ from BG/Rakuten for a December purchase. I think BG might wait for the 60 day return window to pass, before releasing the funds. My money is showing in the May check. hth

I am debating whether to buy the Flamenco clutch in size mini or regular. I am leaning towards the regular size because it holds more and is more practical. I am petite, 5 foot, which size would you recommend? I am assuming both sizes' straps are adjustable.

I am quite flexible in the sense that I can carry a Speedy B25 when I need to bring more stuff or the YSL Toy Loulou when I only need my essentials. It depends on what I am doing that day and where I am going.

I’m 5 ft too and I tried on both the Mini and Regular in store. Both looked fine, but the Regular looked more proportional to our height when worn with a chain as a shoulder bag, not as a cross body (it was not bad, but just looked a little bit off). Vs the Mini looked good as a shoulder or crossbody. The mini holds all my essentials - cosmetic bag, hand cream, air pods, decent sized folded wallet, iPhone Pro Max. The medium would hold all that and more so it’s more of an every day bag. The mini could be dressy, errands, or a day bag.

Thank you for sharing your insight! This is very helpful! I am so tempted to buy this bag! But, I told myself that I must sell my Chanel Boy first.

I'm also 5 foot and I have the mini. The strap is fully adjustable and it's very light even with the chain. The chain is quite short on the mini so if you wanted to use that as a shoulder strap it would sit very high like a lot of 90s bags. I went with the mini because the shape is a bit more different than other similar bags seems a bit more rounded. I was also worried that with the medium I'd put everything but the kitchen sink in it and I thought the strap could be uncomfortable if heavy as its two thin straps

I had the same dilemma, and got the mini but sent it back as it only really held my absolute essentials. I've now got the medium and it holds the essentials plus my book and my knitting, which are also essential for a slightly eccentric middle aged woman! I think the mini looks lovely though, and if I didn't cart around so much stuff I'd have had that. Both are absolutely beautiful bags
