Hi - I was so inspired by all the Flamenco love here and thought a mini would be a great little crossbody for me so I was surprised at how short the strap was on the longest setting for crossbody use. The opening of the bag is above my waist which is not convenient. And I am only 5'2"! Did I miss this bit of critical information or has anyone discovered a workaround? Thanks!

I felt the same- I purchased anyway with the jacquard strap to use as a shoulder bag. I’m hoping the new clasp strap will be longer 🤞🏼

I think the gold logo lends a nice classy touch to an other wise super plain bag. Also, the new clasps on the strap is great. This way it is easier to attach and also usable for other bags too. Great updates imo.

I don’t mind the new clasps but definitely prefer the embossed anagram logo To the gold Loewe stamp.

We actually bought a leather strap from Loewe to lengthen the drop enough for us to use the Howl’s feather mini flamenco. I almost feel like Loewe intended for the mini to work only as an armpit bag or a clutch, which is why the strap is so insanely short…

Hmm I'm not sure if my version is different, I have the Calcifer mini flamenco and similar height as you. I can wear it crossbody on the 2nd longest setting. That said I usually wear it on my shoulder on the shortest setting.

It only comes in the medium size and in three colors: black, green, and butter. I feel like the price is a bit high at $3900, which is about 1.5X more than the regular medium flamenco. The butter color looks so scrumptious 🤩

I was just at the Dallas Loewe store and saw this new Flamenco. Yes, it only comes in Medium (at least for now). I didn't love it (just my humble opinion). I think I'm mostly attracted to the simplicity of the original Flamenco. This new version reminds me of a lot of bags out there. In fact it reminds me of my MiuMiu Coffer bag (I think from 2009---yes, I still own it, but never use it).

I agree. The beauty of the flamenco lies in the simplicity of the design and the smoothness of the leather. Also, when I see quilts I think of Chanel and I love both Chanel and Loewe for different reasons, just not together.

I was in the Soho store last week and looked at both the Mini Hammock and the Mini Flamenco. I loved the versatility of the Mini hammock , carrying it crossbody, shoulder and the handheld was adorable pulling both ends together. My concern was the linen lining and how thin the straps were. I ended up with the Mini Flamenco, for $200 more, definitely more substantial. It arrives today so will post pics.

Have you posted any review and what fits of the mini flamenco? Been eyeing it vs the mini hammock.

That could be clay green or even dark butter depending on how accurate the light is.

Have you posted any review and what fits of the mini flamenco? Been eyeing it vs the mini hammock.

I have the mini flamenco as well, I think the base of the bag can affect what you hold since technically the mini hammock is wider. I would say I probably like the mini flamenco more and use it most often but for me it's probably the color since my mini flamenco is black. Because the base is skinnier, it can hold a water bottle but it'll bulge out more

I think this is a seasonal color called Nude.
