I have a mini flamenco but I’m finding that the bag doesn’t really stay scrunched at the opening and eventually flattens out over time. Is this just me?

I don’t really overstuff the bag and just keep a phone, lippie, cardholder and keys in it.

If you mean that the "wrinkles" at the opening don't stay after you pull the ribbons together, then I have the same "problem" with my mini Flamenco.
The bag itself is one of my favorite bags, but I have to say that bothers me! I pull the ribbons and after a few minutes the bag is flat at the opening.

It happens to me also with both of my minis. It’s just the nature of the smooth leather I presume. It bothered me initially, but I love the bag now even when it’s not scrunched.

yes it's usual for mini size. the scrunchie stays better on the medium size flamenco.

Does anyone think that the mini flamenco with the gold chain would be dressy enough for a wedding? I need a bag for an upcoming wedding and would prefer versatility if I go with something more expensive. Have been looking for ages and cannot make up my mind.

Yes I think the mini black one carried as a clutch with or without the gold chain will be ok.

I wear my mini Flamenco with the golden donat chain for diners and evenings and I think it's very nice and absolutely dressy enough for a wedding!

I personally think it’s too chunky and distracts away from/competes with the bag.

It might be a bit too much it kind of overpowers the bag imo looks like the bag is too small for the chain

I’ve seen it in store and it’s very heavy. Overkill iMO

I bought this chain. It’s not too heavy and I’ve been using it a lot. I found it looked super cute on the shearling flamenco in blue. I primarily use it for my tan puzzle with silver hardware and like it a lot, get compliments, and it makes my puzzle have a different vibe that’s more my style. I feel like it would look so cool with the black amazona/puzzle/medium flamenco too! It’s definitely more oversized and a bit funky, which for me is kind of a Margiela vibe which I enjoy and fits my style.

Got this on a recent trip to Madrid. Ended up getting the chunky silver donut chain and love the option to make it a little edgier.

Has anyone had any luck with a bag insert? I’m not so worried about the structure but something to keep the interior clean while maintaining that “scrunch” at the top.
