The game folks play with "charity" donations are nothing new. What better way to obtain money than say it's for a worthy cause? Ask Wyclef Jean. It's still despicable. No two ways about that. For him to get froggy in an interview and tell that lady, "It's my money!"...hmph, she's better than me. I know she wanted to say, "No, Sporty, it's not 'your' money. It was money you cried about your mama dying to obtain to use for what you said would be research and to help kids. How do you not see the crime in that??!" The sad part is he could've given SOMETHING to research and at least looked better than a lot of other ppl. He didn't even do that! These "charities", sadly, are nothing more than a poor man's version of an overseas account.

Yep. It is said typically 90-95% of money raised by a charity does NOT go to the cause!

Lam Lam and Snif Snif aren't the brightest bulbs. I can see them niavely thinking the money went where it should. Khloe said he was supporting a bunch of people and she had to limit his financial aid, plus his clothing line was always out of stock since his friend wasn't managing it right. His paltry response to the questions once again shows he isn't that smart. What a mess.

exactly!!! that is the part that always make me SMDH - greed is all it was. they won't even give a few nickles of what they get away so that they can at least say with a straight face they funded some kind of research!!!

it's only a step up from the people that you see on the side of the road with the signs - then to find out they get in their nice cars and go to their nice homes with all the money they collected! not because they really needed to buy food as they said. they needed money for a vacation!

"All auction items benefit Cathy's Kids..." means nothing more than "Cathy's Kids has been 'benefited' as you read this because you may have not even known this 'charity' existed before you read it here." In turn, the buyer MAY look up the "charity" and be more inclined to buy the item (which none of the proceeds go to) BUT there was at least a hit on Cathy's Kids website, therefore it "benefited". Voila!

Cathy's Kids has been in existence for over 8 years. None of the Kardashians are involved other than Khloe by marriage. If they were involved, their PR team would have handled this already. They can't do anything because it's not the family. Khloe is standing with her husband.

The charity did do work. Over 60% of the 2 mil went to under privilege youth. I'm sure the remaining 800K went to overhead. Lamar had to bail the foundation out with a personal loan. So, he was footing the bill.

I'm sure the media and people are mad they can't link it with the Kardashian family.

I don't think supporting two elite traveling basketball teams equate to helping underprivileged youth

They team has to be sponsored. You might want to google AAU.:cool: They've been around. These students get housed and school scholarships. The children are indeed under privilege.
