Lamar's PR need to make a statement. It's crazy that his business manager and agent are ducking all this and they were the ones in charge. He needs to start checking his organization and his money. Yes, the foundation helped the under privilege but what about the cancer research.

It is his charity so I think Lamar needs to make a statement other than the statement that it is his money.
TMZ just decided to run it IMO that means that that there will be a statement from him or him manager soon. They can't run anything from his side if they haven't run the initial story.

Charity Accused of Stiffing Cancer Patients
Lamar Odom is facing allegations the tax exempt charity he created is being sketchy with its money ... and not donating ANY cash to cancer research, despite the charity's mission statement.
Lamar established the charity -- Cathy's Kids -- in memory of his mother, who died from cancer when he was 12 ... and initially stated that the purpose of the charity was to help underprivileged kids and raise money for cancer research.
But according to official records -- obtained by ESPN's "Outside the Lines" -- there is no evidence any of the money ever went to fight cancer.
There is proof, however, $1.3 million of the $2.2 million that was raised went toward funding two "elite" youth basketball teams -- the insinuation is that the kids on the teams were so good, they were already on college radars for scholarships and other financial help.
Of the remaining $900k, there is no evidence based on available documentation that any of it went to cancer research. In fact, according to OTL, there's no evidence whatsoever of where the money went.
Lamar sat down for an interview with ESPN producers -- he brushed off questions about where the money went by saying it was all his dough, despite the fact the money was raised through solicitations on his website, Khloe Kardashian's website and others.
We called reps for Lamar and Khloe -- so far, no word back.

She needs to expand that vision and focus to that charity and make sure the cash goes were it should. If Lamar's manager/friend did this they need to take a real close look at all their money and make sure it is still there and other folks aren't spending it for them.
Right! ESPN recently had a documentary on broke athletes and it was so sad. Many loss because of those who they entrusted their money to embezzled. Many from failed relationships, extragant living eith their entourage and injuries. The shelf live is not long and most didn't plan for after sports. So sad.
