I don't know much about basketball, but it seems like Lamar is focusing far too much on his Hollywood career than his basketball career right now. It is the equivalent of someone who works an office job goofing off on the internet all day long and ignoring their professional duties.

I really think he needs therapy. Something isn't right. It is like all his confidence and identity are wrapped in LA. He lost his footing and isn't handling anything well. It is is snowballing.
Khloe is doing her best, but all the media attention they gets gives a jaded perception of him and whatever he is going through.
The Mavs probably have sports psychologists available to him, why isn't he using them? If I were a pro-baller, at Lamar's level, I sure would want to get my groove back.
Basically and if he doesnt change certain parts of his life, he will have similar problem with the next team and because he will be seen as a reality star, teams wont sign him despite of his talent.
Yeah I agree - his involvement with the Kardashians /reality TV deals have clearly hurt his NBA career or at least the way he is viewed.
Wonder if Khloe is next to get the flour? Looks really easy to get to her from her seats here.
Do you think the reason he got that award was because he was on the show and that motivated him to earn it?
^ I think she means that in the past Kardashian TV has never been a distraction for him. He played great b-ball while filming last season of K&L. Kardashian TV is not the blame, his lack of motivation and enthusiasm as a b-ball player is his issue.
He got the award because of skill, hardwork. However, in an interview as a Laker he , and motivationsaid doing the show was one of the biggest basketball motivators he has had in a while. He said he knew he had to be doing the work otherwise people will claim it was the show. So, last year turn out to be his best year as a Laker and in turn he won his first individual award of his career.

I think the two summer deaths, the trade, and not finding his niche in Dallas left him back unmotivated to a degree. I'm sure the show added in the mix as well.
