Here's my current collection of Kellys. I think they are all wonderful "cool girl" in their own right. Though some are more ladylike than others.

I used to link retourne to casual but changed my perspective since I got my vintage Kelly. Sellier’s sophistication combining with the relaxed vibe of a vintage or a sellier mou kelly is my ultimate casual cool

A barenia or a vintage box retourné Kelly are my ultimate goal for a casual chic everyday bag. Size would be 32 or 32 for me but that depends on the frame of the person carring it.

I personally prefer Kelly Sellier because it is more rigid and dressy, but I love my Kelly Retourne for the casual chic vibe. I got this Kelly 32 Retourne in Chocolate Togo from FSH last year and it’s my weekend vibe!

This is just gorgeous! Now I need a chocolate Kelly in my life

For me, a larger Kelly, like a 35 Retourne, gives that casual cool vibe more easily than a smaller K. Of course. it all depends on how you style it. My own “casual cool Kelly” is a vintage Barenia 35 retourne. Admittedly, it’s more cool in an Indiana Jones or safari way than a rocker chic cool, but I love it and wear it the most in my small K collection.

Someday, I’d love a black or graphite slouchy swift K32 with PHW to complete my collection!

I’ll look though my photos and find more cool, casual K photos that aren’t me!

I use my k28 sellier with the etiquette crossbody strap. It gives it a more relaxed look.

To me, barenia in either sellier or retourne in a larger size (32 and up) is the ultimate cool casual vibe, and works with all four seasons.

great thread. I ve always loved this photo. It’s Ines daughter carrying her Kelly bag while cycling. Of course it’s about the whole vibe rather than just the bag. I always think it’s important to have a sense of movement to achieve this.

I am obsessed with the casual look of Kelly and so I am crazy with the canvas shoulder strap for my kellys to make that cool vibe. I find the amazon kelly 32 super cool as day bag or even air travel. Last year I saw a French ladies shoulder carrying that well used vintage kelly 32 epsom gold, still very impressive to me. Here are the pictures fyi.

Kelly 40 in black fjord.... the graining of the leather is so perfect, ultimate cool girl vibe for me (my way of injecting cool girl in my 40s)

For me would be barenia kelly 32 or 35 and maybe suede/grizzly. Both would make a cool casual kelly.

Or a vintage 32/35 kelly with a longer wider strap added and worn cross body with casual clothes
