Tiffany’s World Fair necklace, which can also can be worn as a ring. The center stone is over 80ct and is the largest diamond Tiffany has ever offered for sale. I think it’s the most expensive piece of jewelry the company has ever created.

Something like $30 million?

What is the difference between high jewelry and fine jewelry from the famous jewelry houses? I believe they would both need to be made out of precious metals and gemstones, and not be a part of a mass produced line. Would it be correct that the difference between high jewelry and fine jewelry is that high Jewelry has more elevated craftsmanship and artistry, perhaps more precious stones or higher value/significant stones used? For modern pieces it is easier to tell the difference because they are labeled as such. For vintage and antique items, it was more common for the big jewelry houses to use precious stones on pieces and to make one of a kind or limited pieces (even making made to order jewelry from a client’s own family gemstones, as a local jeweler would do in modern times).

Good points -- I would also add that with high jewelry, they almost never say publicly how much it costs. There are a few rare exceptions, like Breguet's listing of the price for the "high" version of their Reine de Naples watch: https://www.breguet.com/en/timepieces/reine-de-naples/8909#!4540 (292,300 Swiss francs, if interested; I prefer the rose gold version, a mere bagatelle at 228,700 Swiss francs)

But his High Jewelry a function of prices or of the artistry and technical abilities involved?
Is it also a matter of trends?
And like everything else, prices can be negotiated during the right circumstances.
I see many collectors buying classic watches, but is there a true fitness watch in the luxury market?
