Some silks I tried on yersterday though none came home. Mulling over which shawl or silk if any make the cut. Only time enough to try on a few designs but I’ll go back after the first of the year to view more.

Agree with the comment that there is a lot more yellow in the ones that I saw. I’ve already quite a few 90 silks with yellow so I will likely leap for Point d’ Orgue. Oops sorry for any duplicates !
Thanks for all your modeling pictures! It is valuable to see the scarves folded, knotted and worn in any environment, e.g. H boutique! Nice!

Actually a 140cm diameter circle would have to be cut from a 140cm rectangle, so the same amount of fabric is required , but the lack of corners means a little less weight
Hmmm wonder how they hem a circle ? Seems real hard to do by hand or even machine , laser cut ?
If you have ever hemmed a circular skirt it is much harder than a pencil skirt since the fabric has to be gathered a bit, for lack of clearer words
I just spoke with my local SA and the Round Claire De Lune will be priced at $1,150. They do not know when it will arrive. I am anxious to see it.

What great modeling pix, Fifi! I particularly love it with the turquoise blouse.
Thank you so much! And, I agree that this CW is great worn with turquoise

FiFi, lovely on you. It is such a joy looking at your modeling pics. You tie your scarves in so many nice ways.
Thank you so very kindly!

You are the very best!!! Thank you so much.
Thank you so very much!

Thanks for taking the time with all this. Yes, it seems like the corners make this difficult to tie. Also it looks like the underside is very white, which was the problem with A L'ombre des Pivoines. Is that true?
My pleasure... And, yes, the reverse is not as saturated, much like Pivoines, but although this bothered me at first, it really hasn’t mattered too much when I wear them.

You look beautiful!! Love this CW.
Thank you so much!

Beautiful.
Thanks so much!

Love those colors, esp. the bright lime green that punctuates the other colors. The hem is very gorgeous, too. Great shots, Fifi.
The green and turquoise shades are amazing, as is that entire combination of incredible colors and organic shapes... Truly exceptional... Thank you so much

Thank you very much for all the great photos and the many artful ways to tie the scarf so skillfully allowing to see the variety of the design, too. Although you are wearing the perfectly fitting blouses, I don't really know how I like the broad white border in - IMO - quite noticeable contrast to the beautiful feathers.
I also feel much as you do... I’ve really got to try the scarf with other blouses, especially white and see how that goes. The actual feathers design is exquisite, though, and it would be a shame not to be able to enjoy their beauty because of a white border phobia, although the phobia is real... LOL. I need to handle it a bit more before I decide whether it stays or goes

This CW and 03 (the creamy gray, and soft yellows - I think this could make up for missing out on the yellow PdS) are the two I'm interested in; but I am also concerned about the white corners and the big swath of white in the center.
I notice in each of the Pirate Scarf pictures it seems to feature front and center. :hrmm:
This CW does seem like a summery color - I do really like it and you are a master at tying these! And thank you for giving patient instructions for those of us who just can't figure out how you did it!!
My pleasure... Thank you so much! I love that other white CW with the pale mauve and yellow feathers... and, I totally agree that it would fill in nicely for grey/yellow Samourais. As far as the spot of white in the center, it doesn’t bother me at all and made no negative difference on any of my knots... As a matter of fact, I feel that it is a necessary element to the design and adds to the balance and harmony. The feathers gain movement and a “swirling” “dancing” quality precisely because they gyrate around that white “vortex” IMO...
Both these white CWs definitely have a summer vibe and I keep thinking how I love to wear white pants in summer and that the white on the scarf will look striking with either an all white outfit, or with white pants and a brightly colored top, right? Maybe my problem with the white right now is that it’s so off season and because I’ve put away my white pants and accessories.
Also, I’ve got to lay it side-by-side with my white Baobab Cat, which also has a bright blue hem and blue feathery elements. I got that BC to fill a white/blue summery gap in my scarf wardrobe and I don’t want to needlessly duplicate.
Another observation about my CW1 is that it’s the CW where the feather colors are the most vibrant, complex and varied of all of the CWs offered and this really attracted me to it.

Super gorgeous dear fifi!
Thank you so very much!

Your tying abilities are quite artistic and professional, Fifi!
Thank you very kindly!

Grabbed some things today in (I really hope for the sake of my wallet) the last store visit of the year. Among them were the yellow cw for Please Check In - I am a lover of yellow and this season is going to KILL ME...although this particular design I want to frame it up and put it on my wall!

Really wanted to get one of The Three Graces in the 90 but I was not convinced that any of the cws (at my store at least) worked for me. Then I tried it in CSGM and loved the navy one! Always happy (even relieved?) when a design I love actually has a version I can see myself wear a lot....

I took a pic of cw 05 with the underside showing if that helps?

Oh, not so bad. In one of @Living.la.vida.fifi's pix there was a lot of white and I thought maybe the back of the scarf was also showing.
