Trying some more ties with CLF 04 to feature the rose Nomura used in a couple his designs just because he likes roses.
And using a lighter top to try to draw out some of the pink-taupe color tones.
Lighting and view angle make a big difference in how darkly this CW plays the field. I also carefully maneuvered the shot using a scarf clip to hold things in place. Noted I’m liking less and less the mustard stripe, could’ve done without that, I think.

We're in the same boat, Carole ... I wouldn't wear a skeleton around my neck.

You will not get angry replies! Popular design or not, you like what you like :flowers:. Funny it’s the irreverent macabre design of CLF, more than the cw, that makes me giddy and lean towards it as my choice. But the vibrancy and the empowering message of WOW (she is earth, fire Valkyrie!) are undeniable.

Like you I love seeing this design on everyone that has posted but do not want to purchase. A few seasons back I felt the same way about the popular Pivoines design. Loved seeing it on others but it was not for me. We like what we like!

Me too, and this is one of the reasons I’ve had second-thoughts about it, although the satiny, velvety quality of the silk and pearly ivory are exceptional. It is truly stunning on those occasions that I may wear cream or white.

I also rarely buy something skeleton or skull, but I made an exception for CLF. it really is a genius design from nomura, very well made!!
