I dropped by Madison near closing yesterday and was able to try on WOW 02 and CLF 03 (yes, my turquoise cw of choice was there but I’ve one coming in via my SA @ Meatpacking). I was completely ‘wowed’ by WOW because it checked off all the boxes I want in a scarf; my reaction to CLF was less enthusiastic and yet I adore the design. Now the question is, since I’m allowing myself only one more 90 from this season, do I part way with CLF for WOW? A fun thing to mull over and welcome distraction from stress of work.

I’m weighing all options at this point! That’s what’s amazing (and frustrating) about H scarves: seeing them in real life is often a game changer. I had no interest in WOW - but my reaction when I saw it ! In any event, I’ll post a pic of my decision in the next week or so.

I now need a refresher in which CW is which!! I'm a sucker for the CLF, so my opinion really does not count. So thrilled you were wow-ed by WOW! Isn't that the way? You eliminate something from the photos and then IRL- WOW! what was I thinking?

I know it’s a trite saying but it is true - go with what made your heart sing and it sounds like that was WOW! And this is coming from someone who picked up her second CLF yesterday...

I am trying on C'est la Fete on Thurs. This is the scarf I have been waiting for. Will see if it lives up to my expectations.

I will also see if Artisans is in. I love this on everyone and appreciate that it may well be a future grail. It doesn't speak personally to me though, so I think I will be having a similar internal discussion.

I think the WOW is much more colorful than CLF. Maybe you would be happier with something that has more color that you can wear with different outfits. I feel like a traitor because I see so many positive and excited posts about CLF, and maybe I'll get a lot of angry replies, but I really don't like the CLF. It's very dark in all colorways, and I find the skeletons of a man and a horse something I really wouldn't want to wear.

P.S. Of course when you put it on in person, you have to go with the one you feel good about and love. I haven't tried on CLF in person, so my opinion is just from the website pictures and pictures I see on this forum.

Me too, and this is one of the reasons I’ve had second-thoughts about it, although the satiny, velvety quality of the silk and pearly ivory are exceptional. It is truly stunning on those occasions that I may wear cream or white.

All of these are gorgeous, but the pink SD is really something. And looks lovely on you. Maybe pink is, after all, your color.
