how is the feel different from original 70s?

I don’t have the original 70s, however I compared the silk to my PdS and it felt thinner, softer and different. Going to examine it more tomorrow when I make my decision about which ones to keep.

Mistakes happen, it’s how they are dealt with/corrected that matters. Hermès really reached out for me before I did anything. Truly impressed. I also like cw04, because it’s close to the original one.

It has softer hand and feels almost velvety to a certain degree. In my opinion, it isn't as soft as the 70cm vintage scarves. It feels like my Della Cavalleria 70cm with jersey trim. To me this double face 90cm feels in between a regular 90cm silk and the 70cm vintage silks.

@Serva1 Sorry that you received a defective scarf as well. I don't think the double face scarf is thinner. It's just softer.

UPDATE
Superb customer service from H. I just got a call and H wanted to know if everything was to my satisfaction in today’s delivery. I was both happy and surprised, told them about the defective scarf and that I need to try on all cws before I know which ones to keep. H will call me again tomorrow to find out what I decide. They will also contact me when they have the 4th cw so I can get it asap. So happy that in the end H never fails. There is no boutique in my country, therefore I’m very happy that ordering online works.

So glad for you!! Can’t wait to see your perfect scarves.

On the US site, prices are being increased.

Just noticed.
Silk and washed 90s are up $5 but it looks like CSGMs are down $5. That's all I've looked at so far.

My orders arrived today. Love CLF but frankly a huge disappointment. Perhaps it’s due to the headache that has been lurking around since morning...

1) I don’t like the new boxes, the heavier lid should imo be at the bottom but guess this is an attempt to prevent the top lid from damage.
2) the first “new” box had a visible thumbprint or something on the logo. A black ugly smudge.
3) I got a defective scarf, same thread problem as posted earlier and red sticker.
4) all cws felt dark or the contrast on the other side was too obvious.

These scarves look great on many tpfers but I couldn’t make them work. I actually liked the green cw the best and the light grey on the other side matches the rider’s coat.

I’m openingthe boxes again tomorrow in daylight and hope I feel different. Always compairing the feeling of a new scarf to my PdS cw05 that is my favourite 90 scarf. At this point of collecting I only settle for a perfect piece.

I took the pics in different light, love the design and hope I will feel different tomorrow. I’m really not a negative person and hope I don’t spoil the fun for others.

Honestly the pink/green is phenomenal in person - a perfect balance of colors and neutrals. Love love love it, I am going to get a lot of use out if it. I

I love the orange too, but am not sure how much wear it will get.

The blue/black is bold and stunning. Can’t wait to pick it up on Tuesday.

The last one I want is the bolder pink/yellow/blue cw.

They are not identical...please see below side by side.I don’t have the cw 03 yet in 90 - but there was nothing close to this cw, in the 70 release ( I post also the two remaining 70, the two last pictures)

if I see one more pic like this I will have to get a CLF for myself!

The defect

Wow, another one?!?!?! Serva1, I'm so sorry that you and @Meta have had this issue; it's just terrible! Someone must have picked up the wrong pile to box up and ship from the warehouse, but it's hard to imagine that no one opened any of these just to double-check them before they went out to customers. Very disappointing.

Just caught up to your update and I'm so happy that the online folks stepped up and are handling this as they should. Good luck with choosing cws that make you happy!
