Thanks for all the wonderful pics! This is one of my top pics for this season, I can’t wait to see the other c/w’s. I had to pass the first time around because I did not find any colors that I liked enough to get one, but I loved the design from the moment I saw it.Here is the double-sided scarf Della Cavalleria Favolosa. I find it very cool that all drapes and knots will look good because there will always be a patterned or saturated side visible. The hems are rolled toward the multicolored side. Here are some views of the multicolored side. The design is like a multicolored finesse, if that makes sense. Please excuse the quality of the light as they were taken at around dusk. I could take additional pics in the morning if anyone is interested.
And some random others! I did come home with plumes View attachment 4660864View attachment 4660865 View attachment 4660866

Hello Scarf Friends! Here is my third and final scarf for SS 2020. Colliers et Chiens wash in CW 10. This scarf is special to me because it reminds me of 3 dogs that were members of my family when I was a child and college student. (The poodle, Norwich terrier and the Yorkie.)
RIP dear Toulouse Lautrec, the poodle; Winkie, the Norwich terrier and Clementine, the Yorkie
Thank you, kindly, bunnycat!Agree on the hair! I like Savana Dance, but with a large silk am wary of laaaarge areas of pale...I think you chose well with the Plumes!
Ooooooo- fifi! Congrats! The colors are fabulous!
Beautiful color choice and it ties so nicely!
Perfect for framing! I love it and will probably do similarly (with one or two tho!)
A wonderful commemorative choice Ladyb!
Oooh fantastic choice! This CW is fabulous and looks amazing on you! I especially love how you wear it with the striped blouse... Truly an inspired combination. And, I totally get the emotional connection to the design as I am a “dog mom” and our furry children are forever in our hearts... Congrats on this beauty!Hello Scarf Friends! I think I will need to join you on ban island! I'll bring the limes! You are so sweet!! The posters on this thread have really inspired me from the history behind the designs, to the artistry, and the fashion itself. I’ve really felt happy coming to read up and learn more. I am having a lot of fun with all of this. That said, I’m going to be on ban island for the next little while. Send some margs if you’re feeling generous!

Thank you fifi! The dogs that my husband and I had (that passed away) weren't represented. They were a wire haired named Trixie Louise, and an adopted Scotty named Betty. Our current rescue is a five year old dachshund/yorkie mix. ( a "Dorky"?) She is the sweetest little thing. (Penny)
I am always inspired by your posts here and on instagram. Thank you for always teaching us the art history behind the designs and for taking time to post your beautiful pictures. I love, too, how you pair your silks with your exquisite jewelry. DREAMY!!!
Thank you so much!
