I love the Cavalcadour Voltigeur. The close up pictures ( thank you!) show not just the three dimensional ambition of the design but texture on the straps and metalwear all the while overlaying a stencil of the original design layout. This is what a revamp of a classic design should be; a genuine re-imagining which respects the original and pushes forward the art of the possible in silk textile art. And not a polka dot or applique flower in sight. It will be an honour to part with mere filthy lucre in exchange for one of these.

This must be a digital print, but if it results in something this good I’m all for it.
I’ll be intrigued to try it , my only caveat is the large amount of gold metal which just might look a bit too luxe blingy for me.

Totally agree. I’m wondering how many more BdG variations they can still possibly do.

If it’s variations like this (the 3D Cavalcadour), I’m all in; it’s the Carmen Miranda variations (thinking of you, Tigre rather un-Royal) that leave me giggling and wondering how that decision passed the presumably sober quality committee?!

Great photos! I am a surprised there are no music themed scarves - I have been anticipating wall to wall Musique des Spheres / Concerto / Quintessence re-issues in celebration of Beethoven 2020. Maybe this will be a theme for fall 2020?

Just a guess, but it looks like a photograph that was printed on silk. The 3D effect is amazing.

It’s so exciting to prep for a new season. This time I have a longer shoppinglist and we don’t even know the 140s yet, except for Savana Dance. I usually love the CSGMs and autumn winter silks. I suspect the Cavalcadour Voltigeur might come as a 140 too, the print is so genious. If not for S/S 2020 then F/W 2020. The round 140 format and the heart is something I’ve never seen before. Hermès is really reinventing this coming season! I’m glad I’m happy with my current bag collection so I can focus on the scarves instead.
