Posting for reference re colours. I know many aren't too fond of this issue of Tigre Royale but I find it very humorous. I don't know whether to think of Frida Kahlo or Carmen Miranda when I I look at it but I love it! Not too sure though if I love the quality of the hemming ( see pic!). The yellow one also has a slight dirty mark, presumably from the roulotteuse's fingers. I don't know whether to send it back or if I am mumping my chops about nothing.
When you wear it are you going to try to tie it in a way that highlights the amusing floral tiger? It's like "Regal Tiger meets Carmen Miranda." I love it.

"mumping my chops" had me laughing hysterically… I had never heard it before, and wondered if you had invented it! So I did a quick little internet search, and came upon it in a book called "Curiosities of Ale and Beer." Here it is, in an old English drinking song:

All of this is wonderful! Pautinka you do know how to turn a phrase, and ElainePG, how funny you searched and FOUND this fabulous phrase! DH and I have been using it since I read this. Thanks to both of you:P

It reminds me of a word I love that Stephen King the writer has used in his books - “croggled”. perhaps the scarf felt croggled to you?

According to urban dictionary - “croggled” crooked, unformed or misformed, poorly made, shapeless, broken.

so much the opposite of all the lovely scarves you all post here!! I am drumming my fingers for C’est la fete!! Any recent intel or are they just toying with us:biggrin: and it won’t release til summer!!!

Yes, they are certainly taking their time releasing CLF. I predict that the internet will break down upon its release as we all hit the purchase button!
Btw, chops no doubt refers to the old-fashioned semi-beard men used to sport. It's a phrase I've always used but heavens knows where I picked it up! I'm sure somewhere inside me is a Victorian lady screaming to get out!

Here’s cw2 in the three graces CSGM. Sorry for the crappy angles I’m on a bit of a scarf selfie learning curve. Keep or return? I’ll try to take some better pics today and maybe compare it to the orange cw and this one flat if anyone else is considering buying these. Thanks for letting me share!
Oh my goodness!! This is another gorgeous shawl on you!!! I think you need to keep this one, too!!!
