These photoshopped modshots bug me so much! They show the exact same spots on the scarf in each cw, so you really don't get an idea of the different possibilities offered by different knots Given how much their products cost I still find it outrageous that Hermes can't be bothered to shell out for a proper photoshoot.

I agree. The website shots are totally inaccurate, I find. A 140 shawl is (for me, anyway) a big enough investment and such a large format that I have to know before I order online (at least, if it is a current season; of course, that can't be helped with the reseller route - fortunately I have only misjudged two 90s so far.)

The CdL looks really good. It’s a very thick. I had trouble getting my scarf ring up too high because of the thickness.

I think a bigger scarf ring will be better! I folded it in half and tucked the corners in with the "triangle" part but the scarf ring started slipping after awhile.

Cosmographia - I think this is my favorite this season, narrowly beating out The Three Graces, which is surprising to me, since I was initially excited about The Three Graces and Cosmographia really wasn't even on my radar.

All are beautiful, but the Cosmographia is a knockout . The colors are so different from those displayed on the website.

I could not resist the Cosmographia either... it is especially gorgeous as a shawl. I picked up the orange/blue/vert colorway.
I picked up a three graces as well in the 90, beautiful.
