Agreed. There is way too much red, white and blue this season. Although I loved the paisley shawl I tried in that cw and will go back for it. That has a more folky vibe to it.This is waaaaaay too "USA!! USA!!!" for me. Ugh,

Thanks! It will be in my closet a month from now. New Year's resolution re: scarves out the window already.I agree. I really liked the paisley on you. It was really pretty.
I love the energy contained within the design but need to see it in IRL. Fingers crossed it is reissued in a more traditional format ( ok, I know you don't get a square moon but by the time it's folded and wrapped around your neck would anybody notice?!)I wonder if this design will top the charts for category of “Gotta see it, not gotta buy it”.
I so love the design, not sure about the wearing of it.
I agree!Yeah I agree - so many of this season's scarves seem gimmicky: heart shaped pocket squares, round scarves, nano scarves, two 90s sewn end to end... None of these inventions have appealed to me. In the meantime the regular scarves have lost interest IMO: all super busy designs whose subtleties are lost when you tie them, exact same colors from scarf to scarf, reissues of designs from only one season ago... It's really striking that I have not had any desire to purchase this season's scarves, whereas I bought four from the last season and even have my eye on a couple more. Like you I think I will save my budget and not spend it on this season's scarves.

Oh, please share pictures! I’m curious about that one. Good on you for taking a chance!Oh dear, I totally agree with you! I have no desire to purchase anything this season either. Last season was challenging for me too ease because everything looked so ‘flat’. The only scarf this season I am excited about SS/2020 is the Colliers in pink. But I don’t like the wash format. I ordered it anyway and it will be here tomorrow. I am cautiously optimistic, but kind of suspect I might not like it IRL. What is H doing??? The scarves no longer look ‘magical’ to me. I especially dislike the white backs.
Love this CWI went into my store and they didn’t have a lot new yet. The manager said they are getting a ton in next week and I asked her for the round Claire de Lune in pink, so hopefully that comes in soon.
I did try on this and really loved it. The Etriers Remix CWs are so pretty. It’s such a classic pattern and I feel like I should be more interested in the newer designs but the colors they chose for some of these are so pretty I want, like, 5 of them. I already have the yellow, and I’m getting this one too. I really love how each corner is a different color. So many possibilities with wearing them.

Love this color combo...I don’t know how to link back to a post but here are the pictures I took.
The yellow is more of a pastel yellow. Very pretty. I love
The colors are so vivid in the green one. Just beautiful. I had to have it.
Great pic of a wonderful collection!Patchwork Horse CSGM with some coordinating bangles.View attachment 4637212
This is amazing! Wonderful CW... Congrats! Cosmographia is def much better in this formatThe shawl I got from this seasonLighter color combination for a change.
Wow! Fascinating graphics... What do you think about the shape? Did you find a few ways to tie it, or pretty much only as the obvious shawl over shoulders?Clair de Lune photos....still debating on whether to keep it or wait for the blue cw

Thank you so much for these pics... You look amazing on each one. Perfect choice for you, too... Congrats!I tried on two cws of the Three Graces shawl yesterday. Didn't think I would like it, especially the red and blue. But darn it, I loved it and came home with it. (And Sweet Dreams.) Also tried the red and blue paisley, which despite protesting red and blue, I will probably go back for amd the Source de Pegase.
No C'est la Fete, Three Graces silks or Claire de Lune yet.
(Excuse the atrocious sweater - I was running around doing errands and didn't plan on,scarf shopping - as well as the fuzziness of the pics.)

I'm sure this is in the wrong thread (happy to repost in the proper place) but I can't find the "how to" scarf thread... Can anyone tell me if this knot has a name and how to do it? Looks like it's using a horse-bit scarf clip?
