I was told no new season in London until January.
I’m sure this is a decision based on the low £ and the forthcoming UK price increase.
I’m not planning on buying anything much from the new season , but I love looking .:giggle:
Thanks for the info! Shame that new season won’t come out till jan :( Do u know how big the price increase would be?

Hello:)

I am brand new and joined just so I could talk about my very first Hermes purchase. A 90 cm, Jaguar Quetzal in CW 06 on it's way to my door any minute. I purchased on-line as sadly a Hermes boutique is a plane trip away from where I live. I also purchased DH a tie for Christmas. I had been casually eyeing scarves after I decided on the tie, but nothing really spoke to me until the JQ... I put the CW 01 in my cart, but I hesitated and by morning it was gone. I decided hesitating was bad in this new found hobby of mine so I immediately purchased my second choice which is the 06, which sold out hours after I bought it. I am assuming that these will not be restocked once gone? Also curious about how much stock they set aside for the online store vs boutique distribution. I have told DH that I will need to have at least three scarves because we have 3 daughters and they each need at least one to inherit. I also find that I have a rather overwhelming desire to go to France ( I've never been) I see a lot of trouble ahead.... Looking forward to getting to know those of you here.

Welcome to the wonderful and exciting world of Hermes Scarves!!!

I'm not sure about restocking online. I have seen things online, then not online and then reappear again but not everything. I do know that they will pull inventory from boutiques to fulfill orders online and boutiques can get things from other boutiques. You just have to keep looking. Bummer about not having a store that close for you. It is nice to have an SA that knows you and can get you things you see online.

I anticipate that it will be hard to stop at only 3 scarves because every season they come out with so many beautiful designs and each design has so many CW's that you just can't help yourself. My 5 year old already has a tiny collection of the mini scarves. She loves them too.

Welcome here, OkinawaLola! This is a good place to share our love of Hermès scarves. You'll likely be inspired to get more than 3, but for now, enjoy your beautiful Jaguar Quetzal. ;)

Welcome OkinawaLola!

I think stock does come and go online. (Like you, I live far from a store, so online is where I have to look as well if I want something.) I'm guessing it may take time for them to get more to restock. CW 01 and 06 of JQ seem to be the 2 most popular right now but things have only been released for sale for a week or so now, so I'm guessing there will be more later.

We'd all love to see a mod shot of your CW 06 when it arrives!

Oh, I'm sure the website will restock... JQ is so new and the season is just beginning.

CW 01 is also on my list too! Hoping to see it in store soon.

Thank you for the warm welcome. Incidentally, tonight I found someone selling what looks to my untrained eye to be an authentic Jaguar Quetzal CW 01 for 599.00 on eBay.
Welcome OkinawaLola! Huge congratulations on your first scarf and also to your new online home! You will now find the house goes dusty and family unfed as you spend hours, days, nay, weeks cultivating your new love! [emoji23]
Can't wait to see your pics. Please be very cautious of eBay sales - many designs, especially new, are faked. I am not saying the one you have seen is but it is worth spending time learning about authenticity. There is a great thread on here, run by lovely marietouchet, and if you are on Facebook, I would suggest following the Hermes Scarf Catalogue page.
