Perhaps, but Modern Art has a story to tell as well. Every single design needs to be created and given birth to and that process fascinates me and to my mind needs to be told. When I looked at Summer's Day, I could see a city from a bird's eye view, people on the streets and rooftops towering high. If there is no story then it is just a square of silk with a pretty pattern.....and I can buy one of them anywhere - and for a lot, lot less.
For a company that prides itself on artistic creativity this new approach is surprising.
