Pity. I like the stories as they are what make the scarves matter, if that makes sense.
I imagine with some of the really geometric scarves, like On a Summer Day, it''s hard to think of a story. Scarves with a historic or ethnic basis may almost require a story to put them in context, to explain what's important about them.

Luckily, they didn't say no to taking pictures. Sometimes they do. I try to explain that I pore over the pictures to help me decide what to buy, which is absolutely true! And I only take pictures of scarves tied to show that I'm not a counterfeiter trying to rip off designs. Sometimes they don't care and still say no photos. Don't they know these photos will only help spur sales??? (Unless I post a photo of me in yellow or brown, that is.)
If someone wanted to counterfeit an HS design, all they have to do is look on the H website. I agree pix should be allowed. It's easy to be overwhelmed by designs when the new ones first come out. And then it's easy to forget certain ones just by an oversight.

And also... very interesting grouping so far NOTHING from our old standbys - nada from Dimitri, Honore or Henry. The bracelet design is by Faivre but the low ref nbr makes it obvious it is from the archives - end of her work for H ? Nothing obvious from Pierre Marie or Emery
Lots and lots of remixes, polka dots, stripes, tattoos, and bandannas
I liked Nigel Peake's designs. I liked Dimitri.
when you say bracelet design are you referring to a scarf design or an actual bracelet? If the latter, could you show it or direct me to a pix? TIA.

The easiest way to fake a scarf is to buy one and return after scanning it on an industrial size scanner , then use photoshop to decode all the colors , trivia
Photos taken at the store are useless , have never understood why Hermes is so stingy about selfies, unless it has to do with the fact that it takes a lot of an SAs time up, since they have to stand over you while the scarf is out

Thank you!

I popped into Madison Avenue at lunch and the 2018 had just arrived. The 90 silks were out and they were just getting to the other formats. I did not see any other JQ cws but I would not be surprised if they had them!

Happy shopiping!!!
Love both of your choices. Thanks for posting the 140 cm Panthera Pardus. I saw the Hermes.com stock pic and was wondering if that was black/white or super pastel green but your pic has clarified that. One of my fav cws of the design thus far. Will you be able to post mod pics of both the CSGM and this 140 giant silk please? Does the 140 cm feel stiff?

I really appreciate a scarf design more when Hermès includes the scarf history -- so H should not leave the stories out!
Surely even the geometric patterns have an interesting story behind them that would be welcomed. Beta and Zeta, two of the latest geometric H scarf designs by Nathalie Du Pasquier are more interesting once we are shown that this is how she makes 3D art and how her art was transformed and printed on silk. I hope H continues these "art appreciation lessons."

No, I didn't buy any - this was a recon mission for you ladies (and for my own excited curiousity)! The new Alice Shirley is really spectacular. I can't wait to see cw1 and some csgms. I really, really wish I had been able to breakaway from work earlier to see that Samourai csgm! D'oh!
Every single scarf you modeled looked dynamite on you! It's fun to research everything and then make final purchases!
I can't wait to see the Alice Shirley shawl, too! I'm almost out of the Twilly perfume.... Maybe I need to stop by H tomorrow to restock.:p

Thank you dear Yodaling for the hard work! We all appreciate it! XO

I ALMOST thought we were safe from yet another Chasse but alas....
This is a maybe for me. Nice design that will be easy to wear.

Moussies aren't for me and my scratchy facial hair but I'm happy to see PdV back again. Still one of my fave designs.

I know everyone is anxious to see the Samourais CSGM. So far I have come up with nothing yet except for this that Hermes has shown with the new scarf ring. I will continue to dig for more. Added the new scarf rings here too.

Is that a grey Tigre bandana?? That may have to be my bandana pick of the season. First S/S issue of this format. I love the 55cm and find I wear them all the time.

You always look so beautiful in everything!!!

This will look amazing with black bags...amazing! It is the “plume” so yes, similar hand to Tapis Persians. You really must try it...I had not considered it until I saw it on the counter and then around my neck:)

Thank you hopiko, I already have two CSGMs but there is always room for a third panthera pardus and this one is truly wonderful. Love it [emoji173]️
