This may be a silly question - how do you ladies store your scarf in the purse when you are not wearing it, in the office, restaurant etc? I worry about it getting snagged in the bag.

It is a good question. I use a small bag called Penelope Midi from Massaccesi. It is a nice size to fit into a handbag and I can fit a folded 90cm, or a gavroche or a pair of gloves into it if needed. They are available in a huge range of leathers (far more than you can see on the website). Measurement are 12x24x5.5 cms.

Finally picked up Jeu de Cartes in parme so I am twins with ninakt!

And Washington's Carriage Quilt for my mother in blue/beige. She's a quilter and active in the DAR so I figured it would please her. I've found that the original WQ was from 1978 - was there a story for it?

I use a Karo GM to store shawls. Perfect size!

I forgot to mention - when I was in the store weekend before last, I saw this scarf that I don't recall seeing here:



The suit symbols were beaded and iirc the hand and Hermès-Paris were embroidered. And it's a bee jacquard. I should have asked to look at it, but was focused on other things. 450 Euros, as the sign says.

An unused plastic sandwich bag. I rarely stick the scarf in the purse without some kind of protection for it.
